Yes it has, I've just done a complete rebuild on it as well to check it all over. The spur/pinion mesh is perfect etc. The motor sounds fine and all the bearings are spinning freely. Just a bit baffling? Did wonder if the 800mah batteries are being asked too much of by the esc? 🤔

Hi everyone, my son has the ftx tracer brushed monster truck. We run it completely standard with the 800mah li-ion batteries. I notice that the motor and battery do get quite hot as we run a pack through it. Even on tarmac and short grass, the motor gets quite hot to touch! Just wondering if anyone else finds this with this truck? Thanks!

Thank you for your help and information on this. I think I will take your advise and stick to running 2S. Also I hadn't considered the bushes on the motor not being able to take the extra power. Thanks!

Hi, I am just about to fit a 3S capable brushed ESC to my 1/10th car to replace the old 2 in 1 esc/reciever. I run a dynamite 20T 540 brushed motor on 2S lipo normally and it runs fine and never gets warm. Just wondering if the 20T motor would cope with 11.1V 3S?

Just saying hi to everyone on here. Have been back into the hobby over last few years. Enjoy a bit of wrenching when I get the chance. No expert by any means and I've only got a budget BSD Racing 2wd buggy at the mo. Looking at getting a mini crawler soon though and my son has an FTX Tracer : )
