Does anyone know of a guide to get to the diff on a 124008?

Or is it the same as any other model, then i can watch and follow that tonight.

that's the plastic chassis one isn't it? if so the gearbox tops have to come off as the diffs sit in recesses in the chassis itself.

Thanks i snapped my 1251 Front Wheel Seat off a curb last night.... what parts do i need to make the whole wheel hub area metal for front and rear. nice shop btw

Don't go full metal, plastic snaps and limits the damage to one part. Metal arms bent and generally bend the parts around it causing more damage. 

 

If you Google the model and metal hubs you should find plenty of options.

Ah fair enough, when you say 'Full metal' do you mean some parts can be metal or do you mean it should all remain plastic (the wheel hub area). 

I had a good look at my car now and i see what needs replacing. sux that that piece breaks so easily but then again, i hit the curb at about 25-30mph

Arms should always remain plastic IMO. 

 

Metal hubs can help however metal + cheap plastics isn't a great combo.

ok ill keep it plastic,  under £2 for a set including the fronts, rears and hubs so ill buy a couple and if its decent, ill buy more. Ta
