Ah fair enough, when you say 'Full metal' do you mean some parts can be metal or do you mean it should all remain plastic (the wheel hub area). I had a good look at my car now and i see what needs replacing. sux that that piece breaks so easily but then again, i hit the curb at about 25-30mph

Thanks for that, i was going to get the HBX version, i just say tracer because i cant remember the HBX numbers, but HBX has all metal parts BUT as you say, seperate ESC and reciever makes all the difference in the hyper go,. I want to go big power so even with the Hyper go, id change the motor to a 4600kv surpass, i think ill keep the trigger radio, i grew up with stick so im still used to it but no point getting used to stick on one car then having to switch to the trigger version on my other cars. But what is important is being able to turn down the power so i can have it turned down for the garden, and up for larger spaces. Ill see which car is larger, i may even eye up a larger car and change the motor

Hi all I really want one of these but the standard 20+ mph speed just doesnt do anything for me. I have heard about the surpass motor combo but im not sure about exactly which one i need. Can someone link me the one i will need for this car, i guess i will need a receiver too, are there any that allow you to turn the speed down like the standard version? Lastly, when i change the receiver, is it possible to keep the controller or am i going to need another controller too? (tbh im learning towards getting a stick controller, bring back memories of how things used to be) Thanks guys

is the Spektrum Firma 1250Kv Brushless Motor a good replacement for the stock motor when/if it stops working? Id want something similar in performance or a bit better, im not interested in the big motor, cant go full throttle nonsense

Im looking to install Sway Bars but noticed bottom front Arms are webbed so seems destructive drilling through it. Have you guys got the same webbed thing going on with the lower front arms?

Yeah ill prob get some during summer, but i find that the wider arms make the shell look small which i really dont like, just a personal preference. With the hub extender, its not as noticeable though it has its downsides. If we had a widemaxx shell, then id order it now.

They could work, thanks for that, ive played it safe and ordered the black ones, got them off aliexpress for £4.50, dont mind waiting a couple weeks. ive fitted the extenders now, noticeable difference for sure. Looking at the latest pictures you sent me, it looked like you didnt have the sway bars, have you removed them? Also with the 24mm hub extenders, are you able to bash still, plenty people online are doing the "Ohh your car will die on the first jump" routine which i dont believe tbh.

Yeah thats the only way im aware of. My spring arrived today and it seems very stiff, cant imagine needing it stiffer! Ill sort everything out over the weekend, i also need to get baloons for the Bec. when you have a moment, could you send a pic of what your bec looks like in the baloon please, give me an idea of what it should look like. Thinking of just filling it in with silicone sealant
