NiMh care: current thoughts

Hi all,

 

As per a couple of threads, I'm making a return to RC, probably racing a Mardave/Kamtec/Battcave mini.

 

I visited my local club, they're all running NiMh (which I used to run 20yrs ago) but I forgot to ask them about discharging and storage of the cells.

 

BITD we used to connect the cells to a discharger and store them flat, but I can't seem to find any standalone discharger (IIRC I used to have LRP ones) and the discharge rates on chargers seem to be an amp or less?

 

Any help gratefully received
