Popular Post Fat Freddy
Now I’m going with the saddlebag battery, the battery tray is empty. As you can see there’s not a great deal of space, but I’m hoping to fit most of the electronics in there. The RX/ESC takes up most of the space so I decided to de-case it and make a bit of room….

Popular Post Fat Freddy
Cut out a window for the driver to lean out of and made a very rudimentary interior, complete with map reading passenger. Will cut out passenger side window too, so you’ll be able to see straight through the cab 😁

totlxtc
Thank you for linking me over here Freddy. Really enjoyed looking through the thread over a morning brew. No idea how you do it that small. My sausage fingers struggle with 1/10 let alone something that small. The project looks awesome! I enjoy building equally to driving and racing. Find it really therapeutic. Hence I decided to get back into RC a year ago and now I own 3...hmmmm. Is that therapeutic or an addiction?? 1

Fat Freddy
When you zoom in it’s pretty shoddy work if I’m honest, but I’m really enjoying this one 😁

Fat Freddy
I completely stalled with this project. It’s so bloody fiddly, it’d started feeling like work rather than play. Then I realised that if I wanted the wiring to be as neat as I’d like it to be, I needed to back up a few steps. I’ve almost completely disassembled it and will use heat shrink on the chassis rails to feed the wires through, keep them neat and partially hidden.
