Looks good, and a great way of getting some cooling air in.

What have you used for your splitter? Need to make one myself but not sure what to use.

Thanks buddy.

As planned, if I find out that I need extra cooling I can always add some ducting to each intake and direct the airflow over both the motor and the esc.

It's the OEM splitter, I just covered the top side in self adhesive vinyl.

Love the air scoops @JonnyUK , ...did you make them yourself or buy them?

:good:

Bought them, pretty sure they are for a nitro boat.

I did originally intend to fit one onto this and the other on a UDR, but ended up fitting both to this.

I'll probably buy another one for the centre of the hood on the udr.

I'm mid way through adding lights front and rear, I always aim to use parts I already have kicking around.

I made a plastic tray, stuck foam onto it, and strapped the battery for the lights here at the front.

The tray is fixed down using the original screws, the foam is from some packaging on TRX4 parts, the strap is a spare from something else.

The battery is a 2s lipo 1200mAh, leftover from some Absima transmitters I used to use.

The charger charges via the balance lead only so I cut off the other connector and soldered on the JST type that I always use.

The good thing about this lipo is that it has a low voltage cut off built into it.

Still a few little bits to sort but the lights are pretty much finished.

The fronts are the old ones from a crawler, I think they were baja lights or something like that.  Little bit larger than needed so I had to trim the tops and make a little cover brow.   I swapped out the edge leds and soldered some orange ones in place.

I was going to have the front orange lights on a separate switch but I prefer all of them lit together, rears I can unplug just the orange or reds if needed.

I think I need to add a thin black trim to the edge of the mesh grill, I reckon it would look a little better but it depends if I can find something to fit.

My phone struggled with the lit shots but you get the idea hopefully.

They are all reasonably bright in person, the headlights are ridiculously bright!

Not decided yet but I think I might part ways with this, I kind of prefer stadium trucks/desert racers. Makes more sense living here anyway.

I'll decide next month...maybe.
