Modifying my Outback Mini 3 - INTO A LANDROVER WOLF!

🐺OPERATION WOLF 🐺  

Hi all, so I got sick of the stock look of the outback mini in red so thought I’d try make it look like the old landrover wolf (old Army Defenders) 

so far I’ve took the bumper off and move the head lights into the shell to make it look like real lights, chopped the back off and fitted just the back of the cage on, moved the spare wheel to the bonnet, make the shell sit slightly higher, and also fitted clear windows. 
It is still a working progress as I’m wanting to  paint the full shell army green, wanting to fit some fabric over the cage, maybe add beadlocks and some nice bigger / wider tyres if possible. 
All suggestions will be appreciated.

Thankyou, I’ve never seen one of these outback minis made into one at all so thought I’d give it ago, will look 100x better once the paint work is done.👍

So today I got round to fitting the fabric the goes over the back,  used some old fishing brolly bag, turned out pretty good. 
was wanting to paint the shell but didn’t realise you’ve got to paint the inside, what’s the best way to remove the current paint ?

As you want a military Land Rover to be matt green I’d just paint the  outside otherwise it’ll be shiny like your red is. 
 

Only thing is, if you scratch it the red will then show through.
