Hi all, Just wondering if they is any other suspension upright that will fit on the Quantum Maverick mt as they is no alloy ones made for it yet, I've broke the plastic one that came with it from a very pathetic slow crash so wanting something more sturdy

Hi all, was looking at getting a new Arrma granite at the end of the month and came across the maverick quantum MT, I know these two trucks are a world apart and a lot would say go for the Arrma but for nearly half the price is the quantum any good? wanting it for general field runs/ bashing etc mainly when I walk the dog.

Hi all, my car is needing new piston, and my local hobby shop quoted me £80 to do it, I was just wondering is it worth buying anew engine (is possible) or getting the GX-21 fixed ? thanks

Hi all, just picked up a Kyosho Inferno MP 7.5 that has the GX21 engine, does anyone know where to get a piston and sleeve for these and what are they like ? Are these good cars / engines ? thanks all

Well it’s arrived after only 7 days!! Must say they look nice! And are pretty quick!

So after hours of sat looking at each cog / bearing in the gear box I could not find any issues at all, I’ve took it to my local model shop and he said it’s the out drives have split so when load is put on them they slip £23 supply and fit 👍

ah right okay, I’ve open the gear box and all seems well, the differential can spin while at hold the output shaft, this normal? IMG_1778.MOV

Is the firebolt a decent motor ? min willing to invest in it but not fortunes lol, it’s growing on me daily I must say lol! defentily needs a new gearbox like, is the only option a VXL one or are they others I can go with? also do you know of any breakers? thanks

Yes motor and that one with nut on both spin but car does not want to move.

So fixed it other day, took it out today and done it again, tightened the nut up again but still no drive, any ideas ? also I’ve noticed it has a HPI Firebolt 15t motor in it, are these stock or will this be causing my issues ? IMG_1768.MOV

Think I’m just going to buy a full new gearbox from the new ones as they are all metal gears I’m sure ?
