Based on the popular G3 series, these third generation 1/8 motors come in two flavours...

Open case for the on road crowd... Available as 4268 (2000/2800kv)

And closed case, for the off road enthusiast... Available as 4268 (1900/200kv) or 4274 (2250kv)... And is ip5x rated against dirt & dust ingress

They all feature mech timing adjustments from 20-40° with the XeRun xr8 esc... ....increasing to 50° when paired with the XeRun xr8 Pro (due out Feb 2021)...

Add to that, hobbywing's savings of almost 45 grams in weight over the previous 4268 G3 series motor.... Makes for a podium capable motor...

My thoughts too, why only one kv on the larger can?

Really don't know. I suppose they presume most people running it will be 4s rather than 6s.

I'd buy a 1700-2000kv can in a heartbeat. Would be perfect for my MT410.
