ninjagaiden Posted November 24, 2021 Share Posted November 24, 2021 Folks, anyone on here with a Kraton EXB built up with a 1717 happen to know the dry weight (i.e. no lipos)? I've been dusting off my Alza Flux XL which has an old school Castle 1717 1580kv motor. It weighs 7kg dry weight (it's got a lot of ally on it), and I'm trying to work out whether to keep the motor and flip the chassis to a Kraton EXB. Managed to strip the screw that holds the sliding motor mount in place - boy that was jammed in tight! Ordered some better quality replacement ones For some reason I thought I had seen an unboxing video where the screws to mount the motor and at least one pinion gear (12T) was included.
