Me and my mate are going to Ashmore park Sunday morning starting about 8 if anyone's interested in a meet up.

Awww, gutted, that's early for a Sunday, I'll be to hungover, 😒, quick question though, what's the surface like at Ashmore park? I have all Tamiya stuff, pumpkin, Lancia, mkII Escort, Supra, Reinert Racing truck none are great on anything other than tarmac or gravel, except the Pumpkin, which can handle 'short' grass

Posted

I went last Sunday really short grass and some great compressed dirt around the corners,I actually didn't need to clean them much afterwards. We go early so there's not many people around.

What time you there until? I'll bring my pumpkin and my Lancia if I'm in a fit state

We are normally there until 11ish ,depending on how many cars are left running😁

Evening.

Do you guys still meet? I’ve got a Truggy 4.6 and everywhere local I take it moan about the noise, usually get a dog walker making a b-line for me a mile away to complain…

Just about to get a Rovan AS1 and they’re even noisier so I’ve been informed so needing somewhere to go without hassle..

I don’t know anyone in the ‘scene’, and I got back into the Nitros during Covid, but since then had a little one so shelved them…

Cheers, J

Hi, I'm from Wolves. Only recently got into the hobby with my mate. Any decent places to go with Buggys? I've got an FTX vantage and my mate has a Tamiya Rising Storm. Haven't found anywhere yet with enough space really.

Thanks

There is nowhere locally I know you can use a nitro without getting moaned at, the lads have started a Facebook group called bashmore rc have look at that. There's a few out every weekend.

Do you still drive around Ashmore Park, or perhaps places of a similar nature?

I live in Codsall (but grew up in Wednesfield) and just got my first RC car.
