Oh, haven't run the Porsche yet. No where near me with a good surface and I don't want to drive 4 miles to the industrial estate. it'll have to wait :(

Yeah know how you feel other than my carpets my cars have taken even any action lol , it’s a topper man honestly one of the nicest box arts builds I’ve seen.

get the blue paint ordered from modelsport, can hopefully make a  start on the bodyshell on my next day off.

Finally fitted the alloy motor mount, paint turned up the other day too however I’ve noticed that the LandL stickers aren’t that good in comparison to the Tamiya ones so managed to order some from RC Decals on ebay. The shell is spot on just thinking of ways I can do some stealth mounts. Suggestions welcome.  Also think I’ll need spacers as the wheels are going to look a little lost in the arches. Getting there slowly lol.

its getting there pal. nice to see the motor mount turned up, very rare those nowadays, i havent seen any for sale for years. the car will or should take pretty much anything you choose to power it. i wouldnt  go stupid silly though. the shell looks great. heard good things about the l and l stuff. as for wheels.  theres a few options.  wider hexes if you have enough axle left to put huts on or easier is to get wider offset wheels but then you will have to find something which suits the car. there are some wheels out there which offer adjustable offsets.  mst and tetsujin to mention a few.

keep up the great work pal

Looking forward to seeing the finished shell. Curious to see it compared to mine, which was just painted metallic blue, didn't want to do anything fancy (but the second shell will be different). My shell felt a bit off n a few places, such as the upper mouldings for the spoiler, and the spoiler needed a lot of sanding to get it to fit. And the decals don't come with any window surrounds which is a shame, as the decals feel quite high quality. I do plan to get some rally wheels like yours, to finish the look.
