Is it a 2wd or 4wd?

250 is on the expensive side for a beaten up truck for me.

It's 4wd.

You will pay £250 for a beaten up Slash, they fetch stupid money.

A used Senton could go as low as £200 for a really good example and IMO, having owned both and still own the Senton, it's a better truck.

If you don't mind 2wd then this Traxxas Slash looks a pretty good deal to me at the price it is starting at on this auction but it may go for more: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2wd-Traxxas-Slash/202893308915?hash=item2f3d6233f3%3Ag%3AtbsAAOSw9rVeMwzC&LH_ItemCondition=3000

Personally though I think I'd prefer 4wd and go for a Senton as others have suggested ~ used 4wd Arrma Senton for a little under £240: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Arrma-Senton-4X4-3S-BLX-Short-Course-Truck/274245131363?epid=4034680973&hash=item3fda489c63%3Ag%3Apb0AAOSwTpZeNms1&LH_ItemCondition=3000

If it was me I'd try to strike up a deal with the Senton owner, ...using the fact it needs new tyres as a bargaining tool.

You can get the Senton for just over £253.50 brand new bud, that's not a very good deal IMO.

I'd expect to pay no more than £200 for a used Senton... Even less if it needs tyres.

Curious where can you get that Senton for £250 odd new?

It's £289 new from Modelsport UK which is where I checked the price to compare as they're usually great on price: https://www.modelsport.co.uk/arrma-senton-3s-4x4-blx-green-black/rc-car-products/435399

I would have tried to negotiate as I said for a better deal due to the tyre issue so would have aimed for £35-£40 off maybe if I could come to an agreement with the seller.

Makeitbuildit - with voucher code welcomeback, it's where I got mine so I could be so precise with the price... Unfortunately these days Modelsport isn't always the cheapest place.

Since they don't do voucher codes either and a lot of places do, either as welcome codes or returning customer codes etc...

It's a decent saving.

£267.52 with that code now. Still cheaper than MS but frustrating how much is out of stock.

Yes I checked and noticed the price had gone up slightly, I've still got my invoice for mine so just checked that lol.

If you message them on FB they are usually quick to reply, stock isn't always updated instantly on their website, but their eBay page has almost 40,000 listings.

I'd like to point out I don't work for them or get anything from them, just found them to be a very good shop and usually cheaper than anywhere else.

@Oh How Original Starting to look like MS UK need to up their game then. 😆

I've used Make It Build It for a lot of parts on eBay but never thought to look at if they had RC's listed and it seems they're being very competitive then on RC's as well. 😉

They are very good, if I had one complaint it's I think they should offer free postage over 99quid like most places these days, but with an added discount code, it offsets that anyway.

Yep, MS could do with allowing discount codes or something, I've not shopped with them for ages because I can always find a better deal.
