RCbutcher Posted May 23, 2018 Share Posted May 23, 2018 (edited) Ive looked lots of times for bling screws washers nuts and spacers. But they was pretty silly money like £1 for 1 screw silliness. Found these last month and been ordering afew and they add a good sparkle for show time builds. But be carful with them theyre probably soft but fine if you dont muller them lol. Just like any stainless screws tho. Just incase you dont know about screw sizes i remember figuring it out being so happy no more guessing lol. Search screws like this m3x10 countersunk hex head machine thread. Or just m3x10 works then search through for the correct screw head. Flat/countersunk, button head or cap head. M3 means the screws threads thickness is 3mm. X10 would be the length of the screws threads only not inc the screw head. Rc cars use M3 and M4 4mm thick the most. Traxxas 1/16 use M2.5 2.5mm and large scales can use M5 in places. Mayb the M5 is for Metric 5mm etc Mayb. Idk lol. So if you have screws needed but unsure just measure as above. Or if you want to get a longer screw to add a nut on the back. Im doing that on our traxxas hubs they thread into the hubs but im fitting longer to add a nut. Bling and durability more a bling thing tho lol. Heres some links to highlight them im sure if the size or color is needed youll find it. If choosing screws from multy adds check the order before paying if they don't have the size or colour it auto changes the order to gold. The screws link below does anyway. RCbutcher Posted May 23, 2018 Author Share Posted May 23, 2018 Ps, i like the coutersunk stuff with washers so if it does strip out. Its easy to cut the slit in the screw head.
