Just bought one of these and it would be rude not to start a thread, the first post I’m going to share a few stock pics and manufactures information.....

Cage comes off pretty easy, 12 screws....

 

 

Pwoar look at size of the motor, also the ESC is a Dyanmite branded max 6 and the servo is also 1/5 sized

 

 

Bad News, none of 3s packs fit, my Gens Ace packs are too tall and my cheapo Flourean’s are too long, my 4s Nanos fit fine tho, so looks like I’m limited to 4s until I gets some suitably sized 3 or 6s packs....

Given the whole chassis and parts a good look over and I’m pretty impressed at this point, everything looks to be good quality and has been put together well, them boys over on the Traxxarse forum saying the SBR looks and feels cheap are obviously talking poop.....

Shame you're stuck on 4S, but that should still be good for mid thirties?

Yea 50+ on 6s , so mid 30’s on 4s, probably be a week or so before I can give her run, I’ve just ordered a pair of these lipos after being recommended them on a SBR FB group, but had to order from the EU Warehouse....

Hobbythek already have a 24mm hex conversion kit available, the stock ones are 20mm, it’s a shame 1/5 wheels are too tall and heavy to be much use imo....

Would you get away with using some race wheels with a harder compound of tyre?

Heavier boots will likely destroy the drive-train, although the drive-train is yet to be proved weak or strong, so who knows?

180mm is too tall really, the pic from Hobbythek shows 170mm tyres, I did find older MCD tyres in 155mm, but the rims had 18mm square fittings

I lied, they were Badlands and they look like they are 1/2 offset rims, the zero offset Tech 5 rims would work well tho

That doesn't look half bad, they fill the arches quite nicely! You got the official dimensions for both the stockers and those Badlands?
