I saw a guy building one on youtube and found them on ebay anyone know about them? This could be my rc escort mk2 phase. I wouldnt even mind not running it looking like that. This brand may take over it looks next level. But if it was, ide have seen threads on it listed here lol.

It reminds me of the true scale scratch build escort on here but in fancy kit form.

I found the big squid review sounds good but not great. It says its 98% carbon or alloy the plastics are just the uprights ring and pinion gears and something else. Not good to hear its gears are plastic.

It said its not made for grip tires either like they would hurt it. Not confidence building lol. I dont have a pure carpet drift track so it would just get thrashed. But i think ide like it for display more so anyway. It really looks cool and with escort pro painted body could definitely be shelf queen quality. Like my others latly.

Ill see if i can find any metal gear upgrades and owners.

Banggood price is £214.00. I would fit a goolrc combo but would rather a black or silver motor to blend in. With yellow/blue mk2 RS.

I DONT KNOW THO.

Edit. Also known as the deantech d9 bulldog.

pretty sure this has been released properly under the Bulldog d9 chassis, i suspect this is a clone or copy of it. I have seen a few built and run and they do seem decent but limited on parts. also the way the front chassis parts are built it does restrict which shell can be used as they are quite bulky compared to other drift chassis.

I was thinking escort 2 peice body's are boxy. Im not sure yet tho. Don't get the chance for a new rc much lol. I like the idea of a scale truck too to use tho. This ide just display but if its a clone mayb look at the Dean tech.

Dean tech also have a 1/5th bike which looks beautiful too. Idk about fairings tho. Heres a page with links to their products. If they have a chance at becoming a regular brand shelf queening a 1st model makes ok sense to me. But ive always wanted a display mk2 escort rc and couldnt be better than this.

Unless the scratch built one on here. But i cant do that.

I wish sierra sapphire bodies existed.

ahh the retro racing ones. they are pretty much same dimensions as the other rally legends ones, id think youd struggle to get the chassis under that shell.

As for clones. well theres are clones of clones even the sakura d4 is a copy of an overdose chassis. there is connections anywhere, if its just for display does it matter what make it is

Ps: By the way my interest in this is that I've been thinking of building either a mk1 or mk2 escort Mexico shell for my own and I am thinking of actually making it out of metal and not crappy fibreglass etc etc etc! I want sumat that will stand the test of time and not just break in to a million bits as soon as you touch em! Lol :)

I'm gonna fabricate it from a nice thin durable mild steel and it's gonna have that complete look, with the big bubble arches etc! It'll be a fine looking thing when it's finished tho! :)

Thanks for taking your time to read my little rant mate :)
