Unfortunately no, you'll need to get a new transmitter and receiver, but you can pick up a flysky gt3c for about £30.

I've just got my boy a Outback 2 Tundra chassis,He's using his own electrics and we'd like to go 540 motor with it,I've had a look for the parts to convert but arnt having any luck...is it trans plate, gearbox and motor plate?

Can anyone tell me ?

We have plenty of motors and pinions seems a shame not to like.

So the pair of us sat at the bench and got it up and running today [emoji16]
He's put his DX4C,2s lipo and HD LW20 on steering in it with an alloy horn too.
He's not 100% set on a colour yet but, white blue and light yellow have been mentioned with a white roof, all of which are well represented in real life but the kit FJ body is still in the workshop for now till paint turns up.
We opened the axles before the sparks went in...yup...they were bone dry but not for long.
Ran it up on carpet with a ruthlessly chopped pvc spare shell to offer some roll protection and we are both well chuffed with it...even had it pulling wheelies.....gawd knows what it'll be like on a 540 and 3s...

Took it out with my scx yesterday,it did well.
Up till now with no added weights the motor is coping well on 2s,it certainly doesn't need a 540 in it,I reckon it'll tear it apart.
Have put cells over front but the bias is negligible with 1000mAh cells so we're gonna try wheel weights next and try keep it lightweight overall.

I agree,I've put a mere 25g in the fronts each side-as thats all I could squeeze in without getting the tyres off,but I may yet debond these boots and put something else on...there's a few sets kicking round the workshop.
Had a good look at the rims tyres/inserts while they were off,I've got to say that even after opening the vent holes the inserts feel terrible....I think they probably have to go....are they memory foam or just a bit too rubbery?

Well gonna stick with these for now but carry the Swamper copies just in case.
Swapped cell and radio plate round to allow loading of the servo, zero clearance issues and a handy spot for much needed beef [emoji41]4d858476069415270c17d435ee539a45.jpge8bbc76e464e0ed6c471ad800c57e1a7.jpg60c8fb4f1c465004c874a99654637905.jpg
