  1. I have previously ran a spare but it's not great for the COG. As for the course I've lots of pics but struggling to get large files uploaded. Might try Tapatalk again but it keeps messing up of recent.
  2. Finishing touches to the grey one including mirrors and a couple of coats of flat on the canvas roof canopy. Overdrive and alloy steering links will finish it for now.
  3. Looks great 12h87 these are good value too aren't they? I am tempted but it will be battered in no time 🤣
  4. Well I've not run the white one for what feels like a couple of very cold months now so it's spent some time on the bench getting a new front overdrive kit, some brass knuckles and a lovely alloy steering linkage from Treal. I've removed some of the weights from the front axle to offset the new knuckles and it feels nice.,......it cleared the one line I have never managed previously during my 40 minute shakedown with the new gear on. I've not run with the new linkage yet.....it's fitted and feels great,it's good enough that I had to turn my steering down some way before I was happy ....without end points this mod will test your drive cups and dogbones. The kit soft plastic allows the dog bone and cup to oscillate at the extremes of the steering travel....not so with these. Got a nice scale bundle from EBay too sold the big bits(performance downgrades IMO) but kept the rubberised mirrors....I've cut and placed the reflective decals, measured, marked, measured again at least 5 times more before finally making the holes. This is one of the first scale upgrades I fancied,I mostly go for performance with the scale side taking a bit of a back seat but I love these funky little mirrors. Yoshi
  5. I've had a lot of fun with this especially in this snow but it's now up for grabs. Recently serviced it's had all new dust boots for axle's and suspension arms and carb, full engine reseal with carb orings for good measure. All shocks were rebuilt and all the geometry has been set properly. Air filter is freshly cleaned and oiled. I have only just swapped front tyres to rear to keep wear equal for the first time so you can see how little use it's had. Motor tick over is rock solid and starting is easy once primed. The engine has good compression and holds a tune very well. This Revo has reverse and a two speed box but the factory Optishift(nothing but bother from day one hence very little use overall) has been removed and reverse is controlled via a 4th channel on the DX4C radio. You could save some money by using your own radio but to have reverse working as well you will need a minimum 3ch system a Y lead can be supplied for the twin steering servo if you are using a 2 or 3 channel system. If using a 2ch set up reverse will need to be locked out or I can do this for you before dispatch. It's complete but for a charger and some fuel, there's no bodges and no parts need replaced anytime soon. The body shows signs of use and the chrome on the wheels is peeling but other than that it's ready to go. Postage and PP or collection in person north east. Complete with radio all set up delivered I pay fees 270 No radio but complete 220 delivered. If collecting in person save £15. Yoshi.
  6. I think its literally hundreds of hours work to get a mould all set up from scratch.... this guy has and I'm loving his products 🤓
  7. Kit masks are poor so don't bother, just use them as templates for some masking tape....only another 3hrs polishing the creep off... Masked inside and out, clear rear lamps and headlights/front indicators,Matt finish soft top Looking at the 67 ford brochure......there's were some cool colour combos...liked the understated orange and some of the metallics too but I settled on gold in the end and although I've a bit of clean up to do the window rubbers are done and I'm just about to do the grill detail.....I've left it till last....not sure what to with it tbh. Yoshio it in. Yoshi
  8. It's not far off at all, much lighter than stock too it's more like an ultralight race body, it's sure to bring the COG down. Still to trim the front panel as I've left as much on as possible for first fit.
  9. Wow now that is nice...extra scale mini body in the parcel too 😎 Really looking forward to this paint job. Yoshi
  10. No sooner do you paint one and you find another 'must have'.....inspired by my new grey CRC ...... just found this site over on FB there's a few good looking shells there.....67 Bronco on its way 🤓 Icebergrc.com
  11. Bet you can't wait 😉 I love my two, such a great little platform. Yoshi
  12. Used scx bundle, all used but for three of the tyres and the scale euro plates and lcg relocation plate. 35 the lot delivered I pay fees too Ono will split. May trade other bodies or body for Revo nitro. Yoshi
  13. Love the look of this grey body,it looks fantastic with the new headlamps.....I think I want to paint another... Yoshi.
  14. £6 quid well spent... Made up some lamp holders too, can't wait to paint it,just can't rush. Since these first brass diff cover and knuckles came I've had another set arrive but there were what I thought were fitment issues causing binding,on first inspection it looked like the drive cup needs slotting deeper or the cups overall length needs trimmed...not the case I'd picked up and fitted the longer silver aftermarket screws .....I've revisited both trucks wiring and I'm only waiting on my original motor to pack up before I also wire a new can directly...no more 3.5mm plugs, they must weigh more than a set stock rims or another receiver... Yoshi
  15. Became an owner in a trade last week, quite pleased with it after a good clean and a few bits. It came as spec'ed with the 2.5 engine, reverse 2 speed box and ezstart. The spares are at least 3/4 of another Revo with spare 3.3 engine, forward only conversion gearbox, both diffs,a full set of shafts and towers...etc...instant test bench for the other engines at the least 😎 I've rebuilt + resealed both the 2.5 and 3.3 motors and built a running third 2.5 from the leftovers. Its had a tank through it with the original rebuilt 2.5 in and I'm very happy with it 🤓 so I've put the 3.3 in to give that a try. I've got to say it's a hell of a RC,big fast and very well designed and made, the recent flurries of snow are just too tempting to not play with this thing. Yoshi
  16. I like the iMax b6,I've had many different brand adjustable chargers over the years but I've still got the iMax on the bench along side an even cheaper copy one both running well for every type of charging job on the planet. There's several high end and high cost chargers in my bits bin with various faults that just didn't make the grade long term. Just be aware that you will need a power supply for many of these types of units,I have used a laptop power supply for little charging jobs such as the axial small 2s packs of I have a large 12v p/s that lives permanently on the bench. The things to look for are....fixed or adjustable charging current(down to at least 300mah to safely charge your STD battery in your truck) Lipo balance function for 2s minimum that's the least you will need for your STD set up. Yoshi
  17. Hi I've got one in my fleet I'd let go. Its standard but for radio as I use a spektrum for all my car's.)TRX Rx are in my spares) I've removed the opti shift so reverse is on a aux channel although there is a FOC center box complete in the spares.(I have at least 3 optishift units failed) I'm not sure if you have your own radio so I could let one of my spare spekky units go with it(dx4c) Its a 2.5 but there's a complete 3.3 in good order availabl with it and spare driveshafts, one-ways,starter units, starter gearboxes, chassis, gear sets etc. I'm just about to fit all new dust boots, exhaust coupler and fuel lines along with a fresh steering servo as one has become mousey. The shell is solid but shows signs of use, there's no bodges,it runs perfectly too but doesn't get the use it deserves. If your still looking for one please PM me and I'll get some pics to you. Yoshi🤓
  18. This one is ready for its maiden and I knew the stock Scx24 lipo's I had lying round would find a use....350mah so somewhere in the middle for weight and size, I may have underpowered it slightly with a 1400kv motor but it will still fly I'm sure 🤓 Spent some time setting the tx up,end points, sub trims, dual rates with expo and a throttle cut. Originally I'd imagined the STD 6ch Rx that came with the tx would fit the wing fine but after putting them side by side its a no go... got a tiny 4ch fs2a version that fits the job better...needs the pins soldering on if your not wiring direct and I heat shrank mine in some clear red I had spare, Took a couple of days assembly waiting for the glue to go off properly while it's kept square and flat. Itching to fly it 😎
  19. Could be the best six quid of upgrade ever bought....yet to be fitted tho...we shall see. Soldered up the BXR and went direct to ESC with the motor wires so no connector as such,I'm probably going to do this to the other one too...3.5mm gold banana plugs are massive on these tiny rigs. Rx mounted on upper rear links again and it's wired tidy enough for now, this will be revisited when I have some more time. Looking through my paint I found some Corsa grey...I think this could the be colour but it may be a bit too light even backed with black...need a test spray I suppose. 20. I've been scratching my head for a few days trying to find some 7x3.5 EP Pusher prop's for the wing....I was under the impression that a pusher set up had to have a pusher prop rather than a tractor prop in reverse?. There's lots for larger power units but not a lot for lightweight electric pusher set ups. After some research a reversed tractor prop will be fine it seems..so I've a slack handful of GWS high speed jobs ordered.... I wasn't really keen on building this smaller one up initially but I've got almost all the parts now and it wasn't a big investment. The servos turned up along with a new radio combo so this is the easy option to get my thumbs back in tune with the limited time I have. I really want to build up the hummer super square and balanced how I like but I don't even have a bench or table I could use to do that on right now. I think a new bench is in order. Oh that's my little finger next to the servo [emoji50] [emoji851] Sent from my Nokia 2.4 using Tapatalk
  21. Its certainly getting there AJ [emoji851] Sent from my Nokia 2.4 using Tapatalk
  22. Took this in px a couple of days ago. Quite pleased with it really, motor still has pinch evident,it's mostly all there too but for a body, axle washers and axle hex pins. Has cleaned up well might even run it if we get some snow [emoji851] Sent from my Nokia 2.4 using Tapatalk
  23. Get in! Another step closer....chuffed. I could be wrong but I think they shrunk the solder posts too. Sent from my Nokia 2.4 using Tapatalk
