So.....jus sorted out  sum big bores for it Even though it ain't  here yet. ........ ....went with 40wt fr/rear . ...even had sum socks for em

few pics of my xl roller off mr jari on here.... ..all pics expertly  taken  by him.        ....so..I'm seeing  no scratches  bad marks under that mud. ....Engine mount screws nee sorting.....he's keeping  the picco engine. .......so i  reckon a good strip an  clean and it'll b  sweet  truck 

 

 

 

.jus dug out sum of me savvy stuff.... it amazes me how much crap I actually have ....stuff I didn't even remember buying...found 2x os 8 plugs...exhaust header seal....fail safe...me tasis pipe....sum duo bro body teathers....and a tank seal....

and a li-fe rx pack and me 2x 1256tg`s...........

well......I guess sum of u have seen this...

so..after a closer inspection of my new to me savvy......

on the surface all looks fine n dandy..........but the engine is only held in with 2 of 4 bolts...and is actually loose on the mount....and theres loads of metal shavings around the spur....which is metal.....which would indicate to me its been run as it is ...loose...........and theres no reverse fitted....which I asked him  twice in 2 separate messages if it was and how did it work......he said its all working.....but never answered my 2nd message about how it works..........so its going bak...and I`ve enquired about one off here now......a really tidy one....he sent it out before my pay pal e cheque has cleared so I cant open a returns case until hes received the payment for it....which is 1st of july.....so I have to wait until then.....I`ve sent him a polite message and attached the pics of the box.....so awaiting his reply now.....but the his ad cleary says it has reverse...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RC-HPI-Savage-XL-K4-6-Engine-/112029901107?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&nma=true&si=cbTQ4cnNF1hboSTU7gmIvfsuWf4%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc       well this is the 2nd rc of ebay which has gone bak now.....I thk I`ll only buy em off from now on.....out of 30+ odd rc`s bought off here over the years I`ve not once had any issues I wasn't expecting/told about......none!!..........

Bloomin' ebay. Does state no returns but as it's not as described hopefully you get it sorted. If you have no luck then maybe they'll plumb for a new reverse kit for you as compensation.

Bearings in the centre box all replaced . .. ..and both diffs empty  as per usual ..but everything looks /feels spot on. ..bearings all replaced  and filed with 10k  oil.....

So fr/rear  diffs bak in and making  progress used sum small  rings to take up the slack  here  ....  found   brandnew  16th bell aswell. rounded  off the tiny screw

...found  oneinhere though

Now I have clearance  issues with the  engine and  chassis ...I cant push engine forward no more or it comes unmeshed..and the spur rubs on the bell...so I defiantly aint cutting into the chassis on that corner as it`ll b too weak n snap eventually

so  thk the dremil and drill is coming  out tomorrow
