62mph. not bad. i presume that will be on 3s with a different gear ratio. than stock so will it come with the extra gears?

Not sure about that. It has a 4.5t motor ie something like 7500-8000Kv at least, which is way more than the 2500-3500kV of most 3S 'speed cars'. I don't think it can even take 3S!

It might well be 2S with a mega high gearing, and pretty mental even at a lower gearing.

For once the 'Extreme' title is well justified.

I could be wrong (check the source) but I think it's 2S at stock gearing.

2S and high KV always worked better for me than mid KV and 3S... My Rustler with a 3.5t and a 2S lipo was much better than a VXL on 3S.

Will certainly be fast. Not that great off road I wouldnt have thought. But I like the idea of this alot!

Many many years ago I had a AE T4 it had a 7700kv motor, with big gearing and on 2s it wasn't far short of 60mph, it was just stupid and nearly impossible to drive

i think most 2wd off road cars that do 60mph are going to be hard to drive

I've run a similar LRP in a 2wd truck (RC10T so it at least has the advantage of weight) and it was crazy. Fun for sure, but unlike the lower Kv + 3S option there is no just pop a 2S in instead for when you want a more drivable car.

I think this is the better route to a quick truck, but with the problem of a truck that is only ever quick.....

Wonder if the included Radio system has adjustable end points enabling you to dial out a bit of the power?

Likely it'll ship with this:

If so then seems so, though the description only mention's steering, there's a lot of knobs to twiddle just for that ;)

Regardless. I like it. RC needs a few more ott models!

That's why I create them

I don't understand why they have used the twister platform for this.  The s10 bast would actually handle the motor, the twister will imho not.

It looks like Lrp have been reading A traxxa s marketing book.
