Awesome.

If you don't mind me asking Arron, what's the total outlay at, including import fees etc...?

Just making a little comparison to what the same engine sold by OBR with fitting kit comes to if bought within the UK.

£750 for engine and pipes

£270 for turtle racing kit from DDM posted

no duty was paid I must have been very lucky.

So a lot of money but I got a good deal and had to be taken.

You'll always get duties on FedEx, they arrange it while it's onn the way over... You'll get a letter in the coming weeks with how much is to pay.

They do it that way so you don't have to wait weeks for your items while they're stuck in useless UK customs :)

Even with import duties and any odds and ends that's around £280 cheaper than buying it from Sonic... The OBR version is only the same thing anyway, RCMK bottom end and OBR heads, but still only rated to 14hp so they can't be different heads :/

Yeah I thought I'd got away with it because their was nothing on the packet, but that must just be the new way they do it.

As for the heads, that won't make any difference mate... I don't really see where that extra £280 is coming from myself lol.

They are ported heads mate.

Can't be much going on there though if they're kicking out the exact same figures bud.

Also seeing them go, they seem no faster at all in comparison.

And a bit of porting doesn't really warrant 280 notes lol.

I think you've done the right think by going RCMK fella... Really looking forward to seeing some videos of it :)

Is that a plastic gearbox case I see in there....

Yes with blackbone gears I don't have £100 for the turtle racing one after spending best part of 1k in a month. So when it goes it's going to be replaced.

Does a kill-switch still fit?

Needs to be wired in with the killer RC one that is made for the rcmk or run 2 kill switches.

Why  would it need two? Surely there is one kill switch on the engine so you would wire it to that.

It's 2 cylinders so each cylinder can run independently of each other you have no stop / kill button on the engine from factory.
