    If you know, you know. Monster servo and aluminium tray that retails new for £350. I had this on my 2wd losi 5ive which I had setup for tarmac with slicks. This is used but it works fine and I have a working video that was taken on 19th march. I want £200 for it. VID20210319200912.mp4

    Probably not as the chassis is shorter on a b so I doubt there would be enough room between the engine and rear shock tower for it.

    I just converted my t to a b and used a 5b samba pipe which is much tighter around the pull start. I had to make a custom bracket to support it as the samba mounting points to the chassis were too far away.

    5b pipes are a slightly different shape and generally are closer to the pull start as the 5b chassis is shorter than the T. I run a 5b pipe on my buggy T but I had to make a custom mount to support it.

    I would wait, I really like my pro mx 30.5 so the 32 should be mental.

    just to add some balance here, I've had several KM head kits and not had any problems with isolator block sealing etc. I'm not saying there aren't issues with some heads but the 2 I have had have been fine. I built up a spare engine a couple of months ago and had no issues with it.

    They aren't lipped, 15x28x7 size but one bearing has a custom inner race and is supposed to go on the spur gear end. weird.

    Can anybody tell me why this has a 'modified' bearing for the spur gear side. I've just bought it all to replace my fid setup and have no time to install it this weekend, just curious as it means additional bearing costs etc.

    Take a picture and upload it here. You can try using the FG parts diagrams and manuals that are on competitionx site to narrow it down but even they aren't foolproof as there was quite a few versions and model changes.

    Is the fuel tank vent clear, it won't draw fuel if it isn't.

    Also can you roll the car freely backwards and forwards without anything binding/jamming?

    Pro MX started with one pull with choke and 2 pulls without. No changes to the tillotson carb yet and I have no idea which is the high and low needles as they are not marked!! More investigation required!!

    No although the piston is ported right up to the gudgeon pin.

    Pro mx top end assembled. I didn't have a billet clutch housing to hand so cast it has to be for now.

    Good news, Prox MX 30.5 head kit has finally arrived and new carb etc. Bad news, I'm now away until thursday evening so no assembling until then

    Yeah, at least I have something to run next weekend. Can you post your tillotson settings so I have something to work from when all the bits arrive. H did mention them to me but it went in one ear and out the other ;-)

    Still not arrived, apparently next week now. Lets hope there's no more delays! In the mean time I blew up my KM engine and looking at the piston it looks like it ingested something. New piston, ring and head fitted along with a new carb since the old one had serious wear round the throttle shaft. This engine will serve as my spare once the Pro MX has been built and fitted. At least the rebuilt KM started in 2 pulls, first time!

    Decision made, Pro MX head kit ordered and gone with a tillotson carb. Not sure if it's going to be good or bad but we'll soon see. Update: Ian ran out of 30.5 head kits off the shelf so scott is doing mine on friday, won't have it until next week now :-(
