Anyone know where I can find a Tamiya Escort Cosworth shell, the one with the whale tail if possible, I've had a good hunt around with no joy [emoji20]

Ive not seen any for a while. Not blank ones. Have tamico not got any hiding?

TBG shells are rather nice. Have you discovered the decal sets on their 'sister' site?

I do have a whale tail and door mirrors kicking about 'somewhere' in a box, want me to look them out for you (could take as long to find 'em as for the shell to arrive from Canada, buddy)?

Tamico do the decals for the newer WRC version, so I'll get them from there, I only need the lights and grills

Not directly,  but from what I have seen they appear to be clones of the GPM ones. I haven't heard of anyone having any issues with them.

Good afternoon Rob. Welcome to the thread. The lunchbox is great for all levels of user. As for it falling over, thats down to your driving, turn to quickly or sharply it will fall over. What type of terrain are you wanting to run on? Also are you looking for speed or nice and steady? And finally is it the lunchbox that appeals to you because its a monster truck or some other deciding factor?

The "Walk of Shame" is just part of the hobby. I do it all the time and I don't have a Lunchie! Very tempted by them myself.

Tamiya LiFe batteries are rated lower than LiPos at 6.6v rather than 7.2v, you can't charge them using a LiPo cycle, they must be charged using a LiFe charge cycle.

Thanks for that

so are they more user friendly than a lipo as in letting your kids charge them ;)

Are the run times longer than a lipo

cheers

With proper instruction LiPos can be kid friendly. As for run times, I would guess it depends on the mAh of the battery, like with most batteries. Depending on your ESC, I don't know of many that are LiFe friendly, the cut off for LiFe will be lower, the TBLE ESC is set for LiFe.
