It offers speed and fun in any conditions. Oversized 1/8th scale low profile tyres give the Riot not only a new aggressive stance, but also outstanding levels of performance on any surface. Captain_Caveman
Sounds like a mildly updated XTR
rc 4 life
the chassis and the layout looks similar to the rascal
rex x boy
actually looks a nice quality car from Schumacher some of their latest stuff has been rubbish, and has all been about marketing hype (all the 70MPH and other speed claims) started off by the XTR-3E and BIG6 years and years ago.... their electric stuff has always been nice, but i haven't liked any of the ones they have made since the BIG6 on the nitro side of things. i think you could have a good laugh with one of these cars exhaust on the outside looks pretty good too, i remember a mates rush evo used to have the exhaust on the side of the shell, which made the paint come off.... certainly a much better effort from schumacher
Garry
Except its nothing like an XTR, apart from being 2wd. Kinda like saying a TT01 is similar to an Savage.
Schumach3r
its just a bigger rascal lol

Schumach3r
the exhaust system is definitely better on this, the one on the rascal is the crappiest exhaust ever invented by anyone, i could design one better than whats on the rascal. rc 4 life
true, but didn't they solve that and bring out a new load of rascals with no leaky exhaust?
Garry
Yeah, they did. The O-ring was too small and allowed gunk to leak through under pressure. The later ones have thicker O-rings.
antnee
whats the huge spring for?
Garry
Throttle return.
rc 4 life
how doies that actually work?
Schumach3r
Yeah, they did. The O-ring was too small and allowed gunk to leak through under pressure. The later ones have thicker O-rings. they still leak though, mine is a later revision and its still leaky, although probably better than it was at first. When the servo is not powered up the spring pulls the brake on and shuts off the throttle Edited January 29, 2007 by Schumach3r

rc 4 life
they're like that on the rascal. basically, it's a rascal but bigger, with a better pipe, side exit pipe, and a different shell
Schumach3r
and longer wheelbase with shocks like that they are generally softer as you get more leverage via the wishbone.
martin34
I hope that pipe fits the Rascal as i am sick of all the crap that comes out of the pipe.It has even worked its way down to my one way bearing and is making it slip
Garry
It'll fit as its the same engine, but you'll need a different manifold, one that goes upwards to clear the wheels, like this: Then the body won't fit.
