How can i do this to my chassis

buy a extra car and stick half of it to the rear

i thought about doing that but it doesnt look quite that simple:-/

looks like its the rear part bonded / screwed on somehow.

A plate underneath maybe attaching the 2 rear ends but that would cause it flex so im a bit stuck

I would suggest that is a custom chassis as it looks very neat to be a "cut and shut" job

i think you are right, ive found the build thread and it says on there its a custom chassis and top plate by a guy called mark blackburn over here somewhere.

i cant see his profile because im not on facebook but heres the build

i may contact a carbon fibre firm and trace the back end of my car and see what they can do

Hmmm...... New plan

One Sakura ultimate chassis and one piece of GRP :)

I'm going to trace my chassis and rear plate and make my own custom one with ultimate running gear.

Would GRP be ok for a top plate though or would I need something different?

I've ordered some more GRP because my sheet isn't big enough but I'm going to make my own chassis and top plate and give it a go :)

The only bit I'm struggling with is the double diff 2nd axle and the rear with the short belt. I'm hoping to leave enough space between the axles so the smaller Sakura rear belt will pull tight and work.
