PurpleDrumstick
Looks good, how much did all those bits set you back? Cheers mate. Only a mere £180 shipped :-X Should drift like a dream though. The rest of the bits im getting on Friday I have swapped for my orca esc off the tourer so not really paying for them and that should see the chassis nearly full alloy
PurpleDrumstick
No update tonight as such as its seriously f****d me off. Fitting the last turnbuckle for the auper rear suspension and I find out the thread is no good on the turnbuckle. Not bloody happy, it's the last piece as well. PurpleDrumstick
Well its all built. Needs some serious setting up, camber is ridiculous. The height, well lets say its picking up pennies. The only thing letting this down now is the messy electrics which really annoy me. Anyway, less babbling and heres pictures for you all
PurpleDrumstick
With payday coming up and the chassis starting to get far more refined I decided its time to get a new combo. Been doing a bit of research and have decided on the skyrc Toro esc with ares 10.5t motor and the 6in1 programming box. All for about £105. Bargain. This also means........BOOOOSSSSSTTTTT lol hell yeh I have got an update to do as well. Spent some time messing about with different setups now plus a couple more bits added. Will try post it soon
PurpleDrumstick
Update: Few more alloy bits off trisvxl And a few pictures from last weekends drift session. Ive done quite a lot of changes to the setup now and its running absolutely spot on. Was having a brilliant day until i decided to test a mod id done without a bodyshell on, full lock, full impact. Whoops. Luckily ten minutes before the end of the session, needless to say ive ordered a few spares of these lol And when i say full lock this is what i mean So now just waiting on delivery of replacement ball joints and my new ESC and motor. Hoping to be built up ready for a drift session next weekend
PurpleDrumstick
Update. Finally got the replacement ball joints and got the car put back together. Also tidied all the steering wiring and moved the gyro onto the bottom deck just behind the steering system. ESC and motor removed as well. Figured i would take some pictures And a tidy delivery turned up today. SkyRC Toro 120A ESC and SkyRC Ares 10.5t motor. Time for boost Waiting on some wire now which should be here friday. Will be soldered saturday ready for another mad weekend at NRD, stopping the night again hopefully lol. That's all folks
PurpleDrumstick
Not updated for a while. Since adding the new ESC and motor its been running spot on. Also the mrs has got me the full usukani chassis kit for my birthday which is shock towers, upper and lower chassis decks, front upper bumper, spur mount and rear battery mount plate. Got it all fitted today along with some MST heavy wheel weights put in the front wheels. Back to testing again tomorrow. Here's some pics of how the chassis sits now http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j281/sonic-the-1st/Rc%20stuff/D4%20Build/12670648_10153955697360605_1204238289982646550_n_zpszqdr00xy.jpg[/IMG] http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j281/sonic-the-1st/Rc%20stuff/D4%20Build/12417559_10153955698035605_7638629759982195859_n_zpsj8g8avwf.jpg[/IMG] http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j281/sonic-the-1st/Rc%20stuff/D4%20Build/12718111_10153955697840605_8863053180790663299_n_zpssxp86qvq.jpg[/IMG] http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j281/sonic-the-1st/Rc%20stuff/D4%20Build/12718382_10153955697595605_433962394911776491_n_zpsopvawa6y.jpg[/IMG] That's all folks Edited April 2, 2016 by PurpleDrumstick Photobucket sucks, not a clue what's wrong

PurpleDrumstick
Cheers mate. He's a top bloke Dale is, he's currently in the process of trying to sort me some one off parts so hopefully the chassis will be very different to everyone else's only problem is, its way too easy to spend the monies with him lol
Kpowell911
Looks class mate! Where abouts in the West Mids are you? And where is that track? Radshape?
PurpleDrumstick
Cheers mate. I'm in Stafford. NRD is in Wakefield 2 hours away which is where I usually go. Went to radshape for the first time today, track was nice but they could really do with cleaning it more often and sorting the CS guys out who were practically banger racing
