A nice little run out today, took the DSLR along with me, unfortunately didn't get all the shots I wanted, too many people/cyclists about for some, also had to get back in time for the bank, but here's a few anyway.

Some pictures taken from todays ride.
We did about 165 miles today, so that's over 300 done on the Fazer and absolutely loving it.
I'm hoping to go out again tomorrow, which will probably be a solo run.
Just still finding my groove on it, although I have already made the chicken strips smaller, my old man spotted them, not me.
I really wish I'd taken my DSLR, for some of the views, bikes and the birds in flight, plus there was a guy we watched for about an hour just parachuting around in the thermals.

Cleeeeean.

Here is the dude parachuting.

I can only imagine the kind of view he's got from up there if this is what we see from the ground.

I'm really not a fan of selfies, or my picture taken in general, but with such a great background and great company, on my first ride in our little group on a big bike, there had to be a group selfie.

You might also like the KTMs Gaz.

Stuff like the 1290 super duke r.

Which, I think is my ultimate bike, once I am earning a lot more

Rode a few and had chance to buy a Ktm 600 crosser, that was a beast! Ended up going for a Yamaha wrf426, but sorta wished I’d have gone the ktm route.

i like the street bike look (is that still a term used?)

looks fantastic although it doesn’t look too belly friendly....:whistling:

Must admit, if I am ever in the financial position to buy one without too much finance then I will.

That's assuming it feels as good as the 790 did.

After riding that 790, I wish I could have one, but first generation KTMs are such a risk, all the Duke range had something wrong with them, then the second gen was perfect.

I'll wait for the second gen 790 then I want a good couple of hours test ride on one.

Video from the 125, put it in it's own little bit, one of my closest calls and the only real one caught on camera, it's typical it always happens when you're not recording!

I'll definitely know this guy again if I see him!

Just note, I swear in the video, if you're the very easily offended, then don't watch.

99% of the drivers near me are pretty good with bikers. You'll always have the idiots but its main women or young girls..I don't agree with women drivers anyway but on a bike they are a nightmare.

Had some much needed saddle time today, just got my helmet back together in time, had it apart for washing, but discovered the lugs are broken on it.

I noticed about a month after buying it when I did my CBT the pads felt a bit loose but never really questioned it, now I obviously know why, very annoying really, I find myself in need of a new lid, this ones always been too hot and noisy for me anyway.

I've sent them an E-Mail anyway to see what they say, I wouldn't have another Nolan given I'll be honest, it looks great in my opinion, but it isn't very good.

I'm looking at some HJCs at the moment, I've tried Shoei and Arai in a shop, they didn't feel good at all, too tight and small I found.

Shark was nice, but I've had HJC before as well, so it's a bit of a toss up between a HJC or Shark.

Some pictures from today anyway.

I really like my AGV K5 "Guy Martin" helmet as it's really comfortable and light it also has good air flow to keep cool.

My brother has a K3 and is more or less the same just slightly heavier.

How do you find it on the noise level?

Ideally want to spend sub £300 if I can, I believe eventually you're just paying for the name of something, so don't want a £700 name on my lid.

Noise level isn't too bad though with the exhaust on the little CBR it's a bit difficult to say lol. But it does already have some cut outs for speakers for a comms system or something plus my glasses fit very well inside with no discomfort.

Sounds ideal.

I did toy with the idea of getting a plain gloss white helmet, then taking some Sharpies to it with just some really random doodles and designs.

Nobody in the world would have one the same, which is a nice thought and it'd be a fun little project.

Need to settle on a helmet first though.

Anyone recommend a particular oil and filter?

I'm thinking Motul, it seems well recommended.

The seller said it had a recent oil change and all the other stuff he said were new actually were, but I've done over 1,000 miles on it now and for my own peace of mind I'm going to change the oil and filter.
