Hi guys,

I plan to try my look img the Nationals in 2016/17 (if I pass my diving test by the time the 1st even is lol).

I'm getting a X-Ray T2 with set up book and was wondering what I need to do to it to make it competitive. I will be using it at my local club so I can get used to it and will be able to know what I need to do to make it quicker and handle better.

Hopefully I have it by the end of July so I can have a few months with it before 2016.

Lots of practice and only changing one thing at a time to help you understand if it helps you or not.

The T2 is an old car now so if you're buying it used, make sure it is in good condition.

To give you something to aim for, when your fastest lap and average lap time are within 0.3 of a second you are doing well :)

Both the motor and battery are old tech and would need upgrading if you your planning to compeat at nationals.

Look second hand for electrics as you can save a lot of money. The controller isnt great, I just got a new controller and I'm a lot faster and the car handles way better, so I'd look to get a better controller.

I'd start upgrading what you all ready have now before you get the car.

Electrons are transferable so I'd get them now before you get the chassis.
