Converting my KM T1000 truck to a short course truck?

Im not sure if i'm having a blond moment but i would like to change my truck to a short course truck. Do i have to buy anything to get the lower stands? I dont see any holes around the suspension tower that would allow me to lower it.

The shape of the shell plays a big role in it I believe... Also the added rear 5SC bumper gives it a longer look so it fools the eye into looking lower.

The 5T/5SC conversion is the same, in terms of side rails and such, as far as I know.

RC modelz now sell a kit from T1000 to 5SC, just saw it a few hours ago on there site.

The first two are the cheaper way to go especially after paint. There not much more than the km gt bodies but should be better quality so worth the

No chassis changes I think the sc shell is just wider and the arches come down lower. I'm keeping the 5t front bumper too.

I wasn't aware rcmodelz had hpi bodies sorry. Just threw up the links from what I've used.

We got them in after bigJim did his conversion just makes it easy to do the conversion if all parts are in one kit

just be aware the silver ones are matt finish therefore painted on the outside, which just comes straight off after your first roll.
