Scoobie007
does anyone run these? from what i can see their made for the sand bashing guys, i have a set on my baja, are they going to mess around with the handling, i only bash for fun on your typical woodland terrian, some loose grass / mud / gravel cheers Edited March 30, 2015 by Scoobie007
Oh How Original
Won't handle quite as well as some 2 or 3 degree ones might, but it'll be faster in a straight line (although not really noticable) Shouldn't be bad handling though
flatout!
It'll want to spin out all the time, if ya run 0 degree hostiles get some camber on the rear wheels, about 12mm on the adjustment thred between the rod end and the rear top a arm, it'll stop the rear letting go so much, but its right 2 to 4 degree for the handling and cornering, and ye it'll go in a straight line on 0 degrees if you can get it in a straight line lol! Scoobie007
the baja is new to me, i bought it 'pre owned' it has kraken rear arms, fonzie rear rod ends and cuffs, and i added some irc hinge pins from my spares box, its pretty solid on the back end, its has phat dad shock shafts too with hemi risers, just didnt want it all going to waste if im just playing about on mud and 'stuff', wanna make the best of it Edited March 30, 2015 by Scoobie007
flatout!
Sounds like a motor that kidda! I wouldn't put 0 degree on though pal if your messing about in mud and have a laugh, 2,3,4 degree will do you nice kid, thats not a bad set up coming together there pal, build on it
Scoobie007
cheers dude, ive just slapped on some hostile 'nightmare' mx's.....guess the name was for the fitting part , still their fitted now, its definitely a well put together baja, my last baja had a obr full mod, made it a bit 'skittish' lol
flatout!
Im going long block next, i gunner have a go building the engine myself, porting, it should come back to me, i havent done it for years, did the crosser engines ourselfs and they didn't hang around, so im looking forward to doing it and seeing the results,
Scoobie007
i have plans for this build, its a decent base to start from, either going to go the kraken tsk-b route, or convert to the 5t, and bung a team chase cage on it, i like the truck look
flatout!
Im gunner go sc for the winter this year, team case cage and the hpi sc shell you can get a decent size pipe under the team chase cage to. Noj
Worst idea ever, running an SC in winter. It will simply collect mud, grass and leaves onto the stone guards, into the badger and the shell will be a crud fest. Buggy is better for winter, IMHO of course. andyknight
I'm tempted by the dom v2 with silencer IF I change the rear pipe (and in black).
Scoobie007
i like the team chase 5t cage with the pitbull inner liners, all adds up to a similar price if you compare to a kraken tsk-b, once you add the additional cost of adding the 5t conversion to a 5b. andyknight
i've got the pitbull outer liners and they're great, fit in 5 seconds and keeps all the crud out. i also worked out that any new exhaust for me will be the 5t version of the ddm dominator, looks much better than 5b version. Oh How Original
im am edging towards the team chase as it supports the rear dom pipe, the kraken doesnt, either way its an exhaust change as neither cage supports my current exhaust Those pipes are extremely exposed anyway, so it is definitely wise to change.

Oh How Original
Between what? He's running the Jetpro pipe and it sticks right out, one end over end and it'd result in definite exhaust damage and possible head damage. Not mine but just to show you what I mean. Oh How Original
Wouldn't want it wrapped around your buggy though Make more sense to spend the funds on a Dominator or something And you unfortunately can't get a bumper big enough to protect the pipe. I tried with a home made one and the Uber one when I had the same pipe. If you made one yourself that was big enough, it looked absolutely horrendous
andyknight
i just ordered the dominator
