Dual Charger

Recommended Posts

Well, I'm currently looking at Graupner.

160-220 street price. (euro)

  • 2 x 180 W or 1 x 250 W output
  • Max. balancing current:1000 mA
  • Discharge current : (2 x max. 80 W) 0,1 ... 10 A
  • Display of battery internal resistance
  • Protected against short-circuit, overload and reverse polarity
  • Ac + Dc

Seems suitable and a good mid ground for a higher end charger.

@ OP:  This fits your original request , bit iffy on PSU but can buy without for 90 euro

Thanks for all the advice chaps. I'm going to keep an eye out for a second hand Hyperion for now. I would buy one straight away if I could afford to spend

Where are you seeing that for 160 Euro? Looks like just the job if it can be bought at that price.....

Looks like a V1, great charger that I'm still using, lacks storage mode, but you can guess when your cells are at storage.

I read that you could update the firmware which adds storage mode. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=825005 At the bottom it says that since the review was written a firmware update has added storage mode.

Have you tried that on yours?

No, but I'm going to. Robotbirds are only down the road from me, I will see if they'll do it for me, that'll save buying a lead I'll probably only use once. If they charge a small fee, that's fine, I don't mind paying that.
