Nitroholic
Is that the re-release one?
Syncro
No, only the Honda is available as a re release. Apparently the Suzuki licence wasn't renewed. Found this on the bay. New in box from the early nineties.
StrokerBoy
Nice. Almost had that myself, been watching it. But I haven't started this yet.

PraetoR
How do these old RC motorcycles work? I get that modern ones can have gyros and/or a "functioning" rider for stability, but what about these? How do they stay upright?
Syncro
The front wheel has a weight fitted to it. As the wheel spins it creates a 'gyro' effect. There's a lighter wheel weight available to help cornering. Road bikes don't really need a gyro anyway. With a bit of practice they handle well. PraetoR
Ahhh, that's quite an ingenious idea with the gyro-effect, I like it! Thanks for the info, I was just surprised that these are considered very good, whereas most RC cars back in the day weren't a patch on what's available now. Syncro
I think it's the moving rider that gives them the cool factor. Not perfect by any means but a really nice rc bike model. Still a huge following for these in Japan. Some of the mods they do are fantastic.

Bigjimknickers
I too had a real RGV 250M, it was awesome! Nikon race pipes on it, it sounded beautiful, fully rebuilt engine with wieseco Pistons, it was a real shame I sold it for peanuts to a mate who wanted it. Lovely models too! Are they going to be built & used or shelfers?
Syncro
I'll probably build one of them. More than likely be a shelfer. I'm building a HOR at the moment that will be a runner.
