.AJ.
Nope, I run my electrics straight off a 2s lipo
lazkopat
I'm gona give the lipo full charge and see if it does it again. Maybe it's the stock tray with foam pads and stock can which is causing some heat build up..

Ian w
Waiting for a Samba pipe for it.
Ian w
Samba pipe has arrived but got me scratching my head. Probably me being thick but where do the 2 O rings go. Thanks
.AJ.
In the joint between the header and pipe, they don't last long and leak like mad after a few tanks

rcbliss
AJ, I think he meant the 2 rubber O rings that hold the pipe to mount. You can see them in this pic- http://rc-car-online.de/shop/en/products/samba_4850-samba-tuned-pipe-for-losi-desert-buggy-xl-race.html AJ, I know you've used a Samba and now run Bartolone, how different were they? Asking so that I can have an extra pipe around when the Samba starts giving trouble.
Ian w
No AJ got it right I meant the 2 small rings that go in the connection. Not the one that goes on the mount Edited July 29, 2015 by Ian w
lazkopat
Right chaps, I'm going to buy an exhaust pipe for my DBXL. Any suggestions on a decent pipe which will increase the performance of my engine...

.AJ.
VRC or Bartolone, get which ever you can find cheapest
lazkopat
So its between VRC or Bartolone then..
.AJ.
Yep, they are very similar in performance, but the Bartlone has a better style joint between the header and and main exhaust pipe
Leo
Took the DBXL out on Sunday to a disused golf course, had a really good time till I stripped the servo horn. Edited August 6, 2015 by Leo
Bigjimknickers
Mines now got a steering problem, I've bound it to my DX4C (Ta A.J!) now it steers one way more than another randomly? I've checked the travel & it's equally set to 85%? Any ideas? Or has my savox that's not that old had it? It's a 0236 bought it from Apex about 3 months ago. .AJ.
Turn up the EPA/Travel on the side that doesn't steer as much? Not many of my RC's have equal EPA left to right

Not many of my RC's have equal EPA left to right But my point is, it steers fine then 1 out of 5 it doesn't? So if I set the travel further it'll oversteer on the times it goes right? WaitingOutside
Hi all, I'm new to the forum and a relatively new owner of a DBXL. Check out my personal views on the JetPro pipe on a stock DBXL.
