YORKSHIRENEO
Took car out for a bash as per. After 15 mins or so the engine cut out. Thought it was out of fuel but when i checked the tank the fuel pick up was still submerged in fuel. Tried to start a few time but no joy. Got home and checked all the standard stuff; air filter ok, fuel lines ok, got compression, spark plug ok but still wont start. After a few tries the engine started to feel stiff as its quite hard to pull the pull start. Anyone any ideas as im guessing it could be terminal? Hopefully will be covered under warranty. Madmini
Sounds like it's flooded. I would take the plug out turn it upside down and give it a few pulls to clear the cylinder Then reset the carb back to factory settings and try again
smeghead28
Spark plug probably gone. It can spark outside the engine but not enough once it is in the engine itself. Probably flooded now as suggested, hence the tightness.
Gazlam
+1 on probably flooded and bad plug but I had a similar problem. It was the flywheel touching the coil pick up. Good luck with your problem mate. Edited October 20, 2014 by Gazlam

YORKSHIRENEO
Quick update...drained the fuel from the tank, removed the plug, turned it upside down and pulled the pull start a few times but no fuel came out. Inside looks bone dry so cud it be a fuelling issue? Just waiting for delivery monkeys then i can go get a new plug On a side note when pulling the pull start the engine seems to "rock" a little which ive never noticed....
