Well one of the best if you like 1/10th racing buggys anyway. They are pretty specialist in that area, though they do stock other stuff too. But for Yokomo or Durango buggy owners they are the first port of call for spares.

They are one of if not the best model shop out there

If referring to the one in Leeds, they are pretty poor (I have been, and also had to sort out a trophy buggy leccy install which they completely ballsed up!)

Not a patch on MS at all!

Well everyone screws up at sometime so you are not necessarily wrong but they do seem to be good for the most part.

It is a pity they never have in anything I have ever needed, as they are a ten minute drive from home - admittedly, racing kits and gear isn't my thing, however...

As for their expertise, I have experienced their complete inability to install a replacement esc in a trophy buggy (through a friend's car) which I set up correctly for him.....after it headed off at full pelt when switched off! Basic knowledge surely?? It was a TOTAL mess, trims set all over the place, failsafe on....that is screwing up to the max in my book. Perhaps that 'technician' has now been sacked.... :whistling:

TBH whilst I would expect them to be able to sort out an esc, fixing people cars isn't really what they do. The market they aim at build their own cars, and install and set up their own esc's.

I remember a friend of mine got a job as a mechanic in a high end bike shop near Manchester Uni. Whilst he expected to spend his time building the Kleins, Treks and Marins the shop stocked, it turned out what most of his customers wanted as a puncture mended on an old shopper. Now as an experienced rider of course he knew how to fix one, but it wasn't really his specialism!

fair point Si, the shop is tiny so don't imagine it has much, if any, workshop space...however, doesn't excuse leaving a customer with a very dangerously set up buggy (purchased from them, btw)

Whatever, there seem to be many happy customers, they're still in business so must have got something right more than once
