Oh How Original
Looking really nice so far, will be keeping an eye on this one. One thing I want to ask, can you get wider cockpit kits? The shells I want to do are 190mm and 200mm wide, but the cockpit is only 164 :/ Edited May 7, 2012 by Oh How Original
heavyleftthumb
i dunno pal, the ones i got are approx 165-170 ish i havent seen any wider
Oh How Original
Ahh, what width is your shell mate? If they just fit then that's fine, I just didn't think the bottom of the windows would be that much thinner than the arches.
heavyleftthumb
the shell are 190mm from top of wheel to other side. where as the cockpit set is 160 so theres quite a bit of difference on this shell

heavyleftthumb
after a slow start to the weekend got sometime to crack on with this. light buckets cut out and designed and cut a decent front grill to accomodate the lights and a ford badge. The cockpit is now painted in matt black ready to go the details painters later this week as i am crap at this and gaz paints stuff a lot better then me lol The chassis was stripped and cleaned and diffs all service and greases and run oh so awesomely smooth now. i am wondering why i never moved to a decent chassis sooner. The TT01 is good for what it is but damn a decent tourer chassis mmmm they be good. more pics to come.
