What did you do to your model today?

Bit of Dremelling!

It did thermal a couple of times!

Making MTXL wheels fit the X-Maxx front spindles:

BEFORE:

X%20-%20Wheels%20-%2020161016-1_zps9cueo

BASIC CUT:

X%20-%20Wheels%20-%2020161016-2_zpsftrcu

THE PROBLEM:

X%20-%20Wheels%20-%2020161016-3_zpsjyd94

More cutting required - hence why I've not tidied up too much after the main cutting.

Look at the bottom part of the knuckle - projects further, not just flush.

Gave my F1 a once-over following yesterday's race meet - my first in almost a decade, my first indoor race on carpet and my first proper run with the car. Chassis was fine, but my formerly pristine shell has a small scratch on one of the decals and a small dent to the top of the air box. I know from experience that race shells seldom stay pristine for long, but it is always sad when they go from new to used condition.

I guess that this car will follow the example of my others, and have one shell for the track and another for the shelf...

Drove the D90 around on the field at work. Then earned major brownie points by fixing the bosses' sons ECX Boost (Just soldered the negative wire back onto the motor).

I dug out my Baja that has been hiding away in the garage for a year or two time to get it up & running again the parts list is long so it may take me a while to fund it but it shall be driven again one day!!

You're in the right place though, a few ads in the "Wanted" section should save you some coin.

Yeah man I'm going to strip it all first then look at what's needed & save some coin money is tight so will be a long one but will be worth it

I will probably do a build thread for those that are interested
