eBay has been good to me for a very long time, until I just spotted a payment on held on Paypal. Clicked it and a buyer has reported the item he paid for as an "unauthorised transaction" he did not make, so Paypal has now returned his money after he had the item delivered. Is this some sort of new scam?
Since I have responded with a tracking number etc, and I've emailed him a heavy message to which he responded and apologised as according to him "he did not make the transaction"
Don't pull the wool over my eyes because I have every message BEFORE you bidded, and AFTER you won the transaction, and most importantly it went to the address YOU are living at.

Seller protection = 1 scammer = 0. Provided PayPal with about 6 pages of screen shots and paragraphs of messages and evidence to this dispute and It’s now closed in my favour.
To the guy who tried to scam me if you are reading this then Im sorry to tell you but if you just asked me for the car before you tried to scam me I would of given it you for a fraction of the price or even for nothing if it really meant that much to you. I am not materialistic and I’m always up for helping others. Money come and goes but it’s only right to earn it honestly without trying to steal it off others..... may this be a lesson to you

The only sad thing about this is the scammer effectively got what he wanted. He got the goods...and a refund.
PayPal are out of pocket...but they get their money back by charging us all for using the service so theyhave a pot of money to hand out to scammers like this guy.
I'll keep an eye out for this joker and if I see him bidding on anything I sell, his bid is going to get removed. I have a list of people to whom this courtesy will be extended.

So I have owned my car for 5 years and kept it maintained and tidy without fail. My true pride and joy. Then one day (today) another drivers foot decides to slip at the lights whilst in first gear straight into me and I get sent forward into another car. Rear bumper cracked and to top it off I arrive home to find a 1 inch nail straight through my rear tyre. Just brilliant!

Forgot to say, the current A to B car also got a tap in the side just after i got it. All the accidents ive been involved in were non fault, but after the first one i think my insurace company started to get suss, but luckily the other party admited liability. Anoying thing is ive never had an accident which was my fault apart from when i locked up on ice and tapped the kerb bending a wheel and bottom arm, only involving myself and no one else. Someone mentioned people cutting corners, only last week i pulled up to the end of my road only to see someone cut the corner as they were turning into my road, enough that they almost hit the kerb on the other side of the road. Also had someone pull out infront of me at a roundabout doing about 40, didnt even know i was there, if id been 1 foot further forward id have been toast. Bit like therapy this lol
