I am a sucker for a beach buggy or SCT style so very keen to see what this is like.

I am no expert in this area but depending on what software you are using, the GPU is possibly more important than CPU as a lot of software can hand off the rendering to the GPU which makes it a lot quicker.

Rubbish weather since about November has got in my way.  Did get out with the TRX4 last weekend but forgot to take any pics.

Always wanted one or the recent Tomley video he did?  They do look a lot of fun!

Mix for me too.  I know the nvme is a lot quicker but the difference to me isnt as obvious as it was from moving from a mechanical drive to SSD.

Does look a lot of fun.  Got some paddles at the start of the year for a WL 124016 but still haven't gone to a sandy spot to run them.

Happy Birthday! Cracking present!  Was this a present planned out with many specific hints or was it a genuine surprise?  Don't think my wife would know where to start with an actual surprise RC based present 🤣

£749 it seems which is a bit less than I was expecting.  Makes me wonder why the 6s Big Rock is more when this has quite a bit of 7075?  

Shall we take bets on UK pricing.  With all that 7075 I am going for £869!

To be honest I didnt realise that the likes of an Infraction is still £699 so I suppose the rip off price for the UK shouldn't be a shock. 

I look forward to seeing US customers getting a 6s Big Rock at $399 next year in a flash sale like they did with the Fireteam.  Jealous, nooooooooo of course not! 🤣

Cant be the right UK price as that is $238 more than the US RRP!?

I love my 3s one so am really looking forward to seeing what this is like.  Would especially love this as a roller.

What are you looking at getting rid of?  I struggle to part with any of mine but will probably have to at some point to make space.

Be nice if Arrma do a decent release of this for the UK.  The Outcast/Kraton 4s V2 were massively delayed for us.

Similar for me and the Big Rock is quite often my go-to.  It is  fast but doesn't have that huge bulk to carry it somewhere and I am less worried about it wiping out and hitting someone as a lot of my spots are dog walker heavy.

Not what you need when on holiday!  

I feel like a spoilt child bringing this up but while I am happy to go ad-free and support the forum (honestly this place has been great to help me back in to the hobby), another reason I joined Gold this year was for the slim chance of winning some RC related prizes.  

Scrolling back to 2022 and 2021 there were 3-4 competitions per year but nothing so far for 2023.  I know times are tough and if they are no longer feasible then I accept that but it feels like a bit of an elephant in the room.   Might just be me but thought I would raise it anyway if you are seeking feedback.

Forum speed doesnt bother me too much but like some other comments, RC still feels like a very niche hobby.  Good locations are my biggest issue with the hobby having got back into it.  I have large and small scale stuff and finding the right spots is still a bit of a struggle.  My local area is being rapidly covered in housing with farmland just disappearing.

The other battle is that somewhere good for RC, is probably full of dogs/walkers.  

Oh and breakages/issues do seem fairly common which can make the hobby more expensive.  I ran my 90's Tamiya hard as a kid and I don't recall anything breaking.  Probably because it was so slow compared to what we have available now but that still plays a part I think for people dipping their toes in the hobby.

Would agree, I love their massive monster trucks but not really sure who would buy this over something electric if they want an on-road vehicle?

Shame they didnt give it better electronics. Running full time at 3s is not something they like doing.

Sell this as a roller with TRX4-like wheel arch protection and I would probably be tempted!

It was all very odd and to me was someone who wanted a rise out of saying about the dog poop stuff!?  But yeah , I have on at least 3 separate occasions now ended up with the horrible stuff on RCs so it deffo needs picking up!

What about some of the other Corally 1/8th vehicles as I hear they tend to have plenty of wheel speed even on 4s.
