  1. Any Kagama owners on here yet? I am seriously tempted to pick one up for Xmas as I have a spare 6s system ready to go in a new vehicle.
  2. Finally a break in the constant rain of late so took out the TRX4 for a woodland trip
  3. Thanks for the suggestions! Decided to grab a 35KG 9imod for the DR8 since it was less than £19 delivered so worth a shot.
  4. Blimey that seems so cheap! What is the catch? 🤣
  5. What do people recommend these days for 1/8th bashers when it comes to a servo which is reasonably quick/strong/reliable? Looking to upgrade my DR8 and something for a potential MT or Truggy close to Christmas.
  6. Some adapters to be able to use the small receiver. Wasn't convinced I had ordered the correct ones as they took some convincing to fit, but tested and seems fine. The adapters kind of make the small size pointless, but I might find a use at some point. Pic next to standard receiver in case anyone was interested in seeing the size difference.
  7. Link to video just in case you were wondering who Tomley was. He is the UK's Biggest RC Channel 😉
  8. I know they are not as popular as other brands but I like that Corally have made quite a few changes over the last few years to their models, and I do think this is good value.
  9. That really is a lovely collection you have there.
  10. If it was me I would look at something like a LC Racing EMB-TG which you can get for around £215. It might be worth saving yourself some disappointment as far as UK Black Friday RC deals. I don think there were any last year 🤔
  11. New DumboRC transmitter. Comparing to my GT5 I would say the GT5 maybe feels a tiny bit more premium in the hands but the interface is much nicer on the Dumbo. Metal wheel is a nice option and does boost the feel of it. This was an easy order for me already having quite a few cars with an X6F/G receiver in them. I was a bit stupid with the receiver choice that came with the transmitter and didn't realise it had the tiny molex connectors so will need adaptors if I ever use it.
  12. Sadly not. I don't mind a bit of rain but I would have got soaked 😔.
  13. Torrential rain so picked on another task I keep meaning to get around to and slightly tightened the slipper on the slash.
  14. Hoping to get the TRX4 out tomorrow so thought I would spend a bit of time checking and cleaning/greasing the portals and diffs.
  15. Looks great doesn't it. Only complaint I have seen is around the internal cage sticking but the driving experience sounds and looks great. Have always loved the Mojave and it is a shame they discontinued the EXB roller. Well that along with most of the other EXB rollers??
  16. Yes, there might be better videos but this is to show you what tends to happen. I mean in an ideal world this would have been fixed since the car is over 2 years old and this is one of the known issues but that is probably wishful thinking.
  17. Rain, rain and more rain so decided to thicken up the centre diff of the DR8. I did mean to do that before I first ran the car so this is only about 18 months late on getting it done,
  18. Probably one of my favourites in my collection. Unless they have made changes, you will probably find the wheels come off at some point. An easy fix and probably worth the time of removing the axle stub on each corner and applying some Loctite before it happens.
  19. My dad is in his 70's and has the T100. He is only charging NiMH and PB AGM but does still struggle with it a bit, even though he has had it since July. Not sure he would cope with lipo with picking cell counts and then lipo over liIo/lihv and that is before all the other myriad of options. The T100 is a great charger though and if your uncle could follow printed instructions that you could custom make, then I think it is great for the price
  20. A double RC day with the old man. A buggy session first followed by a woodland walk/crawl. Got to take advantage of the unusually dry warm weather while it lasts! Really impressed with how the Rlaarlo ran and drove.
  21. Anyone as excited as me about the 4s Mojave?  Still not sure why they discontinued the EXB 1/7th but this seems like a really nice option.

Similar for me and the Big Rock is quite often my go-to.  It is  fast but doesn't have that huge bulk to carry it somewhere and I am less worried about it wiping out and hitting someone as a lot of my spots are dog walker heavy.

Yes, it looks fantastic. I haven't had an SCT for years, this one is extremely appealing.

Be nice if Arrma do a decent release of this for the UK.  The Outcast/Kraton 4s V2 were massively delayed for us.

  22. Will be looking out for the reviews. Got a motor/esc sat around that I want to stick in a truggy at some point.
  23. Got the same servo in my PTG-2 and it is fantastic. Great bargain overall!
  24. Good shout. Not taken a transmitter apart before but assume they come apart fairly easily.
  25. Took the EMB-MT out for a quick blast. Handling has always been funny with it being short wheelbase with lots of power but the steering felt odd. Worked out that whenever I moved the transmitter, the servo would start twitching!? When I got it back home I tested with another servo which did the same so guess the transmitter has something loose inside. Shame as I liked the radio but have swapped it over to the GT5.
