  1. Thank you. I'm certainly staying on the same path I've always been on..... even though I do sometimes take a little detour... I do always get back 🙂
  2. Something I'm always conscious of is location... nothing worse than watching the same place over and over again, even if it's a different product you're watching. I try to mix it up, although all the good places are a bit of a trek, so not always easy to do. I also try to do different things every video, and avoid back to back of the same type of product. This screen shot of my last 12 videos hopefully explains that, as a lot of people still complain I don't do enough of product A...B..C etc. Lots more to it than just turning a camera on and recording, but that's part of the fun 🙂
  3. 10k a day is way off.... It says he gets 1.5m views a day, which could be anywhere from £1500 to £6000... in our niche, Ad revenue varies that much. However, according to social blade (pretty accurate), Kev's getting about 500k views a day, and I'd say a fair few of them views are from 'shorts', which pay pretty much nothing (1 million shorts views would be like £20 ish). Either way, he's doing well, and good luck to him. I don't think it would matter how much money I had, my Wife would still shop in Asda/Aldi..... and she'd also still ban me from turning the heating up and using the tumble dryer lol. We both work hard, we have a roof over our head and food in the cupboards, anything else is a bonus.
  4. You are all making me blush... haha. 🤗 Appreciate the support. As much as I can come across as a bit of D**k Head sometimes (my wife reminds me weekly daily) I really am just a normal guy enjoying this hobby. I'm really lucky to get to do it as a job now. I think it's hard for a lot of people to see past the stereotypical 'YouTuber' thing, we all just get chucked in the same pot. I've worked full time since leaving school at 16... 24yrs of that in the RAF. I've got 3 kids... live in a rented house and shop in Aldi & Asda. No shame at all... As for Kev, he's also worked hard from what I've seen, but he's on a very different path to me (a very different path) and he's doing really well for himself and I hope he reaches his goals. I may be wrong...but I'm sure he doesn't do eBay anymore, his YouTube revenue will be his biggest income. Anyway.. thanks again. 🫡
  5. As a 'YouTuber' that does these Raffalls (in fact, I think I was the first), I felt I should give you some context to why I do them. I started them so I don't have to do 'sponsored' videos for mobile games, ball shavers, smart wallets... and all the other 'QVC' adverts people do. I've been doing 1 ish a month, and nearly all of them have been RC Cars I've built...put time in to, or have some value to me/the channel. I also give 10% to charity. Kev doesn't need to do them, I mean that's pretty clear... but it's up to him what he does and not us. My motives are different to his. I 'm not in a position yet to be able to sustain a full time channel without other sources of income. I don't do patreon, or memberships..and I've stopped the 'buy me a coffee' as I don't believe any of them offer value to the person spending their money. I can't believe some creators even have a direct PayPal link in their description! I spend £17k last year (Apr 22-23) on RC Cars and Equipment, and then around £20k on 'admin' costs... ie a workshop, fuel, power, internet.... tax etc... So £37k+ before I'd even taken a wage. Yeah, I could spend less.... but then I'd not be able to do as much as I do, and keep the momentum going. Nobody is forced to take part, and I try to add more than just monetary value to my competitions. Anyway, I really don't need to be explaining myself lol... 😇
  6. CML still have stock from the first batch but FMS have pulled all the Mashigans, the 1/18 Firehorse, 1/12 & 1/6 Willy's Jeep from sale. I've not had any solid answers from FMS other than they have currently had to stop selling them. I think we can guess why. Not sure if any will be back, but I guess if you have any of the above, they just went up in value... or down lol
  7. Treal have got a few bits for them already. Including a bearing set that's not £35 🙂 https://www.trealhobby.com/collections/trx-4m Hopefully they'll start making some more stuff soon as well. Gareth Curtis is the UK dealer for Treal: https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/garethcurtisradiocontrol
  8. Speed pinion included... nice 😉 As for the wing support... if you have a 3D Printer and some TPU, save ya-self some money. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5676428 Can't comment on print quality....I started to print one earlier but my feed microswitch decided it was done for day, so didn't finish the print
  9. I prefer working on my own for videos, I'm a bit OCD like that haha. I do go out with others, just not something I record.. I prefer to socialise rather than worry about getting the right shot 🙂 Yeah it's such a nice set up. I used it in my Corally Kronos as well.
  10. Cheers mate. I hardly watch any other RC content, but may have seen some of your stuff pop up, I've certainly replied to you in my comments though (unless there are 2 RC Traildrivers lol) People only see what they want to see. I spend a lot more time planning videos than probably 80% of other creators out there do on my channel. And if I share these screen shots below, you'll pretty much see every video is different, not just in topic, but a different type of RC. I've been doing it like that for ages but people won't watch every video, so they don't see the bigger picture 🙂 The good news is I'm not fussed by what others think and do what I think is best, and comparing my channels growth to other large channels, I'm doing okay

    Traxxas XRT 8s

Always happy to call them out, I'm their favourite Youtuber 🙂 Corally have been silent for a while now, not sure if there is anything in the making. Thier parts support for the UK is crap though. Horizon...meh, they get worse by the day! (he say's looking at his New SCX6 🤣)
  12. Very lucky! As long as the surface is smooth 🙂 Yes, £580 I think? (I rounded up the costs above haha) If you ever hear me say 'Tumble Wumble', please report the video as 'offensive' material 🙂

I driven Xmaxx's before, I'm not a fan of them. Impressive to see if you've not seen one before, but I don't get the hype.

The last time I got offended was when my ex wife threw my Guitar out the bedroom window when she kicked me out the house, she didn't even put the case on it! That was 15yrs ago, I'm not easily offended mate. I'm well aware my content is not what everyone wants... but it's what you get haha I've got 2 TRXM's on order, and as for the XRT, I might get one and do a really Anti-Traxxas video on it 🤣

My Wife has the same issue, most of the time she thinks i'm a massive D**k Head, but adores my presentation and style and sleeps in the same bed as me every night regardless 😇 So don't worry, it's normal 😅
