  1. Hi, This isn't a rc battery pack, but i don't know where else to ask? My camcorder is a jvc gyhd111e, the batteries last 15 minutes when on record mode. The camera is power hungry. I can't afford a 500 pound battery system. I have about 20 of these standard batteries, and I was wondering if i can change/modify them to a bulk battery system? OR does anyone know of a large capicity battery that i maybe able to use? Can anyone help, I want to increase the capicty of my battery for my camcorder as it dies after 15 minutes of recording time.

    xtm mammoth

HI, thanks for the replies. I think it would be cheaper sticking a nitro engine back in it. I didn't realise how much it would be. Arrgh, decisions. I've already got two mammoths. I thought it would be fun having a electric one.

    xtm mammoth

Hi, I have a spare mammoth chassis, It has everything bar the engine. I've been debating whether to stick a brushless motor in it. I've had doubts as i'm worried about the size of the thing and the price of the motor it'll need? I know many say its a 'cr@p' truck, but i think its alright to potter on with. I can't afford my dream trucks just yet. Thanks Andy
  4. Hi, As well as RC cars, I've an interest in filmmaking. I've got a jvc gy hd111e camcorder. I've 10 batteries for it, but they last 20 minutes each, plus i have to charger them all. I was wondering if anyone can advise me on on the specs if I DIY a battery pack. A pro battery pack is 300 hundred plus pounds. I was thinking of using a 12v converter, connected to a 12 volt battery. Camcorder plugs into the converter. pro.jvc.com/prof/attributes/specs.jsp?model_id=MDL101539&feature_id=03 www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-1200W-12V-DC-to-220V-240V-AC-Car-Home-Power-Inverter-USB-Port-With-Two-Fuses-/200847747341?pt=UK_Home_Garden_PowerTools_SM&hash=item2ec375690d Am I been stupid, thinking its this easy??? I haven't touched battery packs apart from when i bought one for my nitro! thanks Andy
  5. I've seen them range from 70 to 130 (only on the bay) for just the truck/remote ;-)
  6. I do think they need a roll cage. If they flip hard, they are in a world of trouble. I've bent shock towers doing this ;0 I've got a spare chassis, I was going to do a electric conversion on it but electric is a whole new world to me.
  7. I've still got two of these trucks lying around. I think they are a good truck ;-) They've a few flaws, but i see past them.
  8. Does anyone know of a cheap screw driver bit set? The ones with mutiple ends to go into a screw driver. I've tried searching google, but everything seems expensive? thanks andy
  9. Hi, thanks for the replies. I want something i could use more than once. lol
  10. I have a few of these trucks lying around. I was recently thinking of build a brushless truck from a spares chassis i've got. So, I was looking for shocks aswell....I havent tried yet but the SAVAGE truck shocks/springs look very similar to the mammoth ones and they are a similar length. If you get any further forward, let me know as I'd like to know. thanks
  11. Hi, I'd like to ask, is their any rc cars on the hobbyking site that might be worth ordering? thanks andy
  12. Bargins of the century!!!! ;-(
  13. Hi Thanks for that, I'll look on their website
  14. As above, I've searched goggle and on this forum. I'm struggling to find anything cheap!! My local shop wants 19.99 for 1 litre!!!! HELP! (PLEASE)
  15. sorry for the late reply, I dont get on the internet for half the week. I've checked the manual, It said in the manual that the trucks came with grease in the diff houses? Is there a silicone grease for rc trucks? Thanks
