Same here, nothing beats springs, gears and workmanship for a timepiece.

It's down to the manufacturing tolerances of the LEDs I think. Whenever I've needed to keep LEDs flashing in sync I do it with standard LEDs and put the flashing in the controller. I think I've got the bits to build a controller in my office, can build you one when I get back from holiday if you like.

If you have a spare channel you could try something like one of these. The stock wheels require you to glue the tyres to the rims, which can be a pain if you want to change the foams or tyres later. I would suggest getting beadlocks from the start. There are loads out there from very cheap to ridiculously lovely but hugely expensive. I'm a big TRX-4 fan too, and really wanted something a bit different earlier this year. I decided on the UMG10 from Axial. It is loads of fun to drive and pretty good all round as both a trail truck and for a bit of crawling. The odd thing is its one of the few trucks I have without portals and the only one that should, for scale reasons, have portals lol.

Well, overnight, glued a whole army of magnets to the TRX4/Ratty C-10 body and chassis to try and get the darn thing to stay on. Fingers crossed 🤞

I'm using fusion 360, which is a bit complex but has the computer aided manufacturing built in.

Made my first proper part on the CNC machine. A G10 servo winch mount for my TRX4 Sport. Servo winch to be added when I get to the other half's as I left on her side at the weekend.

The last time I changed banks, the bank I changed to (it happens to be Barclays) did all of the direct debits and standing orders automatically with my old bank (Lloyds). They just sent me a sheet that listed the monthly direct debits etc and asked it it was right.

Have to disagree a little bit. Patents are there to protect intellectual property, to encourage innovation and help protect something unique from being ripped off by everyone. Now, the fact that the US patent system has been corrupted is the issue, basically, a patent should nurture invention not stifle it. The US patent office has become so lazy their approach is, 'we'll approve everything and let the courts sort it out', leading to the situation where a company can patent old technology they didn't invent, without the patent office checking for "prior art". Don't blame patents, they encourage innovation, blame a corrupt and broken patent system.
