  1. it works the same as with any other brand, be it TRX or Losi or any other brand with their AVC/SVC functionality, manual potentiometer on you radio where you controlling amount of speed/power, there's no other magic, my Losi 3-xle came with basic Hobbywing 6S ESC (wp-8bl), I'm running my Helion with Hobbywing ESC and Flysky FS-GT2E in the same fashion and haven'd had single problem At the end of the day it's all up to you, I can send you my ESC if you wanna test it and if you kill it it's on my shoulder, I won't need mine for at least another month or more so I'm in no rush
  2. correct, I just wanted to explain it in simple way, both motor and ESC should be 12S capable so no losses or piling up unnecessary voltage there just different power distribution (higher voltage vs higher current) by no means I suggested to keep potentially faulty ESC, just before selling motor or changing gear I would test it on 12S batteries (going to happen anyway? ) once the ESC is sorted and see how it handles 😉
  3. why such hassle? does your radio provide throttle limiter? you'll operate in the same fashion except you would limit your maximum power by maximum voltage available from ESC unless you need more torque your car will operate the same except your motor will never see more than 42V (10S)
  4. I thought you bought 12S capable motor? At least that’s what the chart was showing, that motor should be able to handle 35k rpm (700kv x 50v) but you might ask seller to confirm it, of course decide on what’s easiest and cheaper for you 😉

    This is why

It’s not only that, I think it’s no different to any other business like car industry or electronics, many clients are ok to use common parts if supplier/producer suggest it to use them to reduce the cost of tooling, good example is diff, you can find exactly the same diff in many rc cars, some might decide to use better material but design is the same so tooling cost is reduced and parts between brands are interchangeable
  6. Buying from Ali for last 10 years (mainly small diy electronics) and in majority cases quality is decent if you know what you are buying and it is from reputable seller, major drawback is shipping time and longer term guarantee but that’s expected as I can’t imagine shipping something back
  7. Nice view and loads of bumps.... but we wanna know how does it handle for C. Sake
  8. I don't know how this happened but I know whose fault it is 😂
  9. Had a chance to test it?
  10. Or check if you can get solid bar instead of diff
  11. know that feeling, have several parts on the way for weeks and no visiblity when they arrive, hate to be waiting 😩
  12. That’s for sure 👍
  13. I wouldn’t sand it, just check with flat head screw driver how much you can open it, should flex enough
  14. I think it’s 56 on flat surface and 58 on ribs but question is where the clamp is located, how far it is from the mount?
  15. Photogrammetry with Meshroom... yeah, I wanted to do this for ages, now with affordable 3D printing we got limitless possibilities, broken your a-arm? just scan it, adjust it and send it to your printer 👍

  17. I ordered my TP power from same shop 👍
  18. pulled the plug and ordered 3D printer, now the harder part, start learning 3D printing

  19. @Jumper should be able to help what exactly will be needed, as far as I remember different motor/diff mount besides ESC and motor
  20. Wow, that looks excellent 😲👍
  21. Yeah I mean the one from helmet, If this doesn’t work you might ask someone with 3D printer to make you some 3” wide plastic bridge or you might find wall mounting clamp used for heating/water pipes in the hobby shop
  22. Do those crash bunks rotate? If not standard curved mount used for helmets? If it’s not curved enough hot air gun should help
  23. fed it with some fresh mixture, was experiencing loss of power, now handles much better 👍
