Sounds like a right mess of a slow rc usually ie the damage done is shoddy workmanship. Bodge it betty. Cos a summit is fairly easy on itself isnt it. Unless mamba powerd. But brushed.
Ive done the same thing but im expecting something less than described as i saw the pics lol. Im all good and happy right now ill wait till Monday as its only 1 day.
But i brought out of ebay from very new account i hardly do that. Ive been given tracking details but today its still saying review and try again. But i have an email with all the info. Just parcel force doesnt have record yet.
Hopfully its just them being slow and its not been put on the system yet or something. Hopfully it just turns up on Monday.
The money has been withheld though and he seems cool and genuine. So im happy to wait afew days. I think i need to release the funds when i receive the item so that's peace of mind. Annoying for him though regardless they should atleast hand ovet the postage cost.

Would anyone want to swap a yeti XL roller for a 1/10 summit?

Yesterday my TX was fine. Today, I got a range of approx 3 feet. All the other cars the same. Guess it's dead.

With cheap radios...sometimes you get a bad one. QC costs money.
It's all part of the risk of cheap. I use a GT3B and have had it for years. Works great. I also have a Sanwa MT04....which is lovely to use. RXs are pricey... and for the cost of one Sanwa RX, I can buy a Flysky radio and another 4 receivers.
It's all a question of choice .

Oh yes. Max6 esc and 30kg servo on way for yeti xl.

Well... After 30 years of working on cars and 16 years in the same garage, tomorrow I hand in my notice. The motor trade takes its toll on your body and to be honest the prospect of more and more electric vehicles coming to the fore, I am done. Adiós amigo. Me and me spanners are through. ?

Yes I do RM. It was a pull I got to admit, and I wouldn't mind betting there may be a lump or 2 as my mouth is saying those words.
I have already had and offer of driving. Basically collecting and dropping off end of lease vehicles. Make my own diary start and finish when i like, as long as the cars a delivered that's all that matters. Oh... And an extra 4k p/a.
Brand new truck, phone, tablet, fuel card and I.D card already in the making.

Scout or R1 chassis? Got the chance of a dirt cheap R1 chassis / cage. I currently have a scout just for playing on the beach. Always loved the R1 look and have heard you can build the scout onto the R1 chassis. Would it be an upgrade or downgrade in opinion?

Great.... MOT shake up starting in a month or 2. Big changes to the test and lots of new things included.

Just sat and read the new test rules for HGV's. What a farce. Most heavy haulage and recovery kit is currently MOT exempt for a reason, they don't fit in MOT test centres or test lanes but the clowns in charge now say they need to be tested. Interesting times ahead for us all. The new diesel car emissions thing is aimed at one thing, get them off the road and us into petrols which the rules change on in a year or so. The new rule for them will be tax rate set every year at emissions test result level of co2 not claimed figures. Hands in our pockets again.
