as big ginge says try switching 2 of the 3 wires on the brushless motor, can you give us any more info on what esc it is and the motor? also what receiver and transmitter are you using? the more info we have the better we can narrow it down, it sounds like something easily solved if we get more info 🙂 theres thousands of esc and motor combos we need info before we can help 🙂 got any pictures?

switch the motor wires around or try reversing throttle on the transmitter 🙂

you wont be disappointed it is a beast and almost unbreakable, oh the front hinge pin holders could do with upgrading, i think thats the only thing i broke on mine and you see the way i drive it, dad also broke the same part too lol if i remember this is the part and replaces the stock plastic one https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/hobao-vs-vs2-cnc-aluminium-front-lower-arm-holder-fr-408830 no other breakages cept for a slight bend in the chassis with my nut job driving 🙂 edit: for future reference bud the max 10 esc/motors are for 10 scale models, the max 8 is what you want on a 8 scale and max 6 for 6 scale etc 🙂

bit of a gamble, if the esc or rx is faulty or is it the tx controller, either way it looks like it might start getting pricey over the cost of the car 😞

i have these wheels and tyres on my hyper vse and my hyper 7 'converted to leccy and my ishima nitro https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/nanda-racing-1-8th-nanda-block-tyres-on-dish-wheels-black-2--32603 they are super grippy and will rip up any grass but make sure you have a good supply off super glue to re glue they tyres 🙂 super grippy that you can roll a buggy on its back on wet grass lol

heres a vid or 2 of stormbringer my dads one and mine both going at same time up the local quarry. pre covid the 100 amp 4s ones which we have used to be 325 quid but as with every thing the prices have been getting higher and higher so the one i linked is a bargain at the moment there are also 150 amp versions which do 6s 🙂

im pretty sure the ion uses a 2 in 1 esc rx combo so the esc would need to be replaced as well 😞

'took the ;sand viper out for a test run after bringing it back in i rearranged the position of the steering servo and im thinking of gearing it up, it had a 17 turn graupner purple tiger brushed motor in it before and it used to get super hot but the hobbywing max ten 4000kv system on same gears is luke warm, needs more gearing plus the ground was wet so very hard to get the power down 🙂 good test run 🙂 i also misheard dad asking is it faster as go faster lol edit: i wonder if i should shim the diff gears a bit? it is a noisy car and has been getting more noisy over time and my dto3 is almost silent compared to it which has the same gearbox. the dt02 sand viper is over 12 year old as are the metal gears in its diff lol

if i do much more to the sand viper its gonna end up been like been like triggers broom lol

fitted all new bearings to the sandviper as its brushless now and the car is over 12 year old lmao also fitted a new 21.8kg etronix servo and replaced some parts on the front and shimmed some to eliminate a lot of slack on the front wheels and regreased every thing in the gear box, oh and new drive shafts. sir fluffy bottom ready to assist i think it needs new drive cups lol, i put in some fuel tubing so the drive shaft can avoid the worst parts of the cups lmao lunchie all ready for action, replace some more broken body posts with tie rod ends so now it has 4 of them and i screw on the shell, elminated massive slack on the steering as the screw i had in the alloy servo saver was a little to long and i put in a tamiya torque tuned motor to upgrade the stock motor it had in it a wee tad 🙂 all hail the waterproofish tub my rx is in lol

just fitted some lights to the grass hopper 2 🙂

put some lights on the dt-03 so i can see it in the dark 🙂 then i thought i would give the dt-02 some love and put in a brand new max 10 system 4000kv.

now has lights and i stuck in a old 3900kv brushless system 🙂

i was silly and made my konghead silly but more fun and insane by putting in a old brushless system with a 3900kv motor lol one handed driving so didnt get to full speed. edit : once dads over his cold ill get a proper video of it running that brushless set up, it is doing silly stuff but handling pretty well, definatly more advanced than a lunch box in design and can do wheeleys etc if i make it, i noticed theres a wheely bar on a sprue that the manual says is unused for the kong head instead of the back bumper i think, might be time to use it lol oh and the kong head survived and was a tense but very enjoyable ride, i scraped some paint of one of the chrome exhausts but that is all 🙂

fitted new wheels and tires to the hyper st. then i added some lights to the tamiya ta04-s and the corally triton 🙂 now i can see them on dark winter nights 🙂

as well as my green hoppy that dad posted i have a grasshopper 2 as well 🙂

last night i fitted some basic lights to the kong head 🙂

cheers guys i used to always get dad to do my shells but with the dt03 and kong i done them all my self lol, im getting more confident at cutting and painting shells now 🙂 some parts could of been done better but im happy with it 🙂 tamiya metallic red then unmasked the silver bits and backed it all in silver 🙂 wonder if i should get a trailer lol oh vroom vroom
