The lack of spares is a little concerning, maybe that's just because the model is new though, hopefully they become available soon. Way out of my price range! and a very unusual looking car in my opinion. but it looks like it performs pretty well from the video.

Hi and welcome to the forum, Those are all great choices! Like most I'd go 50/50 between the MT10 or the Granite. Both have excellent support for spares and upgrades. The granite would get the edge in being easiest to work on. Honestly you can't go wrong with either of them though. Enjoy and see you around.

i agree, those proline's are very expensive , especially for 4 . The schumacher's are a good deal, just a shame no one has any stock of them. The pro lines do come with foams, which might explain the price. schumacher tires don't come with foams so your looking at £13 rather than just £9 for a pair. The Proline's would still cost more either way. If your happy to wait for stock the Schumacher mini spikes or full spikes would work quite well.

It's a Shame, it looks Superb, and a real throwback to old 80's buggy designs. But that price!! on a second note. That's the first time I've seen Tamiya use a new mold for buggy tires, i wonder how well they will perform🤔. I'm really digging the scale looks though interested in seeing what it will perform like too.

You have quite a few options. The tires you linked look like they'll do quite well. On the rear of my 2wd 1/10 buggy i use for bashing i run the schumacher Cat Block tires on loose sandy gravel however they were a nightmare to fit on 2.2 inch wheels, they did go on... eventually. but it was tight. I believe the Pro line Blockades were the 1/8th scale block tires that replaced the Bow ties (or just an alternative). They are also now available as 1/10 buggy rears and are good on loose surfaces. The Granite has pretty big wheels, so if you've checked your gear mesh, it's more than likely a combination of too big of a pinion and no cooling on the motor. Personally I'd try dropping to the 13t pinion and go from there. If your still worried about temps on the motor and esc, run it on 2s until the heat sink and fan arrive👍. Once you've fitted a heat sink and fan you'll most likely find you can put the 15t back on without overheating.

How much would bronze bushings really effect performance? I understand the difference between bearings and bushings and that bushings create more drag and resistance which on paper would perform worse. But in reality, would that actually have any noticeable impact on the performance of a 1/10 crawler 🤔. They wouldn’t be at max rpm all the time unlike a basher, for example. plastic bodied shocks don’t sound like a horrible idea as long as the plastics are a good quality composite. It’s a shame it’s not offered in a clear shell to paint however you want.
