I've run Savox for years and never had any issues at all with them, wasn't even aware of that actually.

You won't have any problems, I know of at least 20 servos running on Spekky gear with no issues bud.

Glitch with petrol kill switches mayb. Otherwise its just servo chatter people talk about. How noisy savox are but thats most radios. The flysky gt2b controls ours dead silent though. I wish i knew why.

I think for postage they just don't have enough options, most shops postage starts at £4.40 which is recorded first class, yet for something small like an rx, it's only £1.80, even a bit less for shops.

I actually had a look through to see if they had anything else I fancied, but alas they don't, I need something new to build, even though if I buy something now it most likely won't arrive until the New Year.

Batteries, whatever chemistry, are not 100% efficient. Consequently, if you want to have a certain amount of power available from the battery, you have to put more than that in. 

I had some Zippy 8400's that took 9300 a while back

Glad he is all good. Nice to hear from a responsible dog owner, I agree vets fees can be eye watering but as you said they are one of the family. I've lost count of the amount I've spent on my 4 nutters but I never complain when the bill lands, just find a way to pay and carry on enjoying my dogs.

Which car? Slash? New nylocs are cheap enough. The nylon lock wears a bit each time the nut is removed/re-attached. I've used threadlock a few times, it just needs to fully cure to be effective.
