Traction Hobby 1/6 KM Challenger Short Course Desert Truck

TEASER – TRACTION HOBBY KM CHALLENGER 1/6 SCALE OFF-ROAD TRUCK

Being teased right now by Traction Hobby is the KM Challenger scale off-road race truck. Coming in at 1/6th in size, the KM Challenger is a large beast that was designed for incredible amounts of scale realism. Right now the Traction Hobby crew is not releasing details, so for now we’ll just have to drool over the pictures until pricing and specifications/features are released.

Must be a challenger (No pun intended) to the Traxxas offering?

Looks good from the outside, definitely interested to see what's underneath.

Who are these people? Anyone know what level this brand is at?

It’s King Motor, it looks like it could be a SBR clone, rather than a UDR rip off

Looks interesting though I suspect it'll probably close to a "clone" of the Losi. Can't imagine it'd be a clone/knock off of the traxxas as traxxas would absolutely destroy them over it.

If Horizon haven't, and haven't done for years I can't imagine Traxxas would. The SBR is probably just easier to straight up copy as it doesn't have the complicated reduction gear. Probably the best they can do is stop resellers in the UK, US etc.

Say it is a clone of the SBR, if they've got it right as they did with the 5ive, then it could be damn good.

Still not comfortable with cloning. Licensing out is OK, but not ripping off.
