  1. Well despite my misgivings about the quality of the KM X2 I have pulled the plug on a KM Baja off of ebay My reasoning was that I may well end up changing quite a few parts so the fact it is KM to begin with isn't going to be a real deal breaker and most Bajas seem to be a mix of HPI, KM and various other companies parts anyway. This is going to be a project for the winter months. Thinking of a Zenoah G320 as that seems to be the engine of choice that ends up in most large scale RCs. This one has a bit too much alloy for my liking so may well sell some of the alloy stuff like the suspension arms and replace them with plastic instead, will see how I feel about that when I actually get it Some pictures from ebay,

  2. I've wanted a rally car for some time now. Having looked at various options I settled on the TT02. This will be a rally car, an on road car, and a drift car also. I spent some time reading up on the TT02 and it seemed to tick all the boxes. I opted for the Type S which has some tasty upgrades over the standard TT02. So here we go. I started with the wheels. I'm still waiting on the wheels to put the kit on road tires on to. I'm sure you've all seen the TT02 chassis a million times before, but I haven't, and i like it. This is my first 4wd car since my 1990 Pro-Cat! I knocked this little piece up. Any guess as to what it's for? A little guard to keep stones out of the steering. More coming soon, thanks for looking.

  7. I lost letters from the Range Rover decals and was going to order another set, but browsing t’ Tinterweb I found a sheet of 4mm black self adhesive lettering for just over £4 so thought I give it a whirl. Not exactly the font but close enough for me! Used masking tape as a ‘level’ line and practiced with a few letters that I wouldn’t use Few shots in the sunshine ☀️😎 Few cosmetic bits to finish and I think that’ll be it....... Only took 9 months!!!!!!
